Powell will speak at 10 pm tonight. If you want to gamble, the market is opening high now. If it falls later, buying puts could yield at least 4x returns, while buying calls might only give you around 1x.
But I think it's safer to wait until after 10 pm to make a move. It depends on how you see it.
I might also make a move before 10 pm if there's a chance, but I'll definitely exit before 10 pm.
