Don't just pursue Alpha, but also focus on investment portfolio and risk management

The blogger Amit, whom I've been following for a long time, posted his 2026 investment plan. After reading about his investment journey and future plans, I reflected a lot and gained quite a bit:

Amit's investment journey (last three years):

• 2024: Heavy positions in call options like Palantir, with a 275% return
• 2025: Heavy positions in stocks like Palantir/Hood/Nvda, with a 60% return
• 2026 plan: Still allocating 50% to Pltr/Hood/Nvda, while adding Amzn/Meta to the portfolio, also selling call options and buying put options for hedging, and planning to DCA into S&P 500 monthly

You can see his investment was very aggressive at first, with heavy option positions, but gradually started focusing on risk management and portfolio diversification, ultimately planning to DCA into S&P 500 as the ultimate defense.

I've been in the market for a year and a half, always researching trending industries and companies (AI/Crypto) to pursue Alpha. I have some awareness of risk management, mainly holding stocks, but my portfolio awareness is weak—I like to go all in. So initially, my heavy bets on Nvda and Pltr did bring substantial returns at the start, but now I've suffered losses on BMNR, wiping out all previous profits, and currently, I'm at 0 returns.

I've been reflecting a lot lately—it's not that I'm no longer bullish on Bmnr, but I'm dissatisfied with my portfolio and risk management. However, I'm not planning to adjust positions yet, maybe out of stubbornness, still believing Bmnr has great potential. I don't have much savings, and my future monthly salary cash flow won't go into Bmnr anymore. I'll consider slowly building a diversified portfolio and adjust positions once Bmnr shows improvement.

Guess I'm a late bloomer. Anyway, no profits but no losses either—valuable experience. Let's encourage each other.
