UNH Return RateBeginner's Notes on US Stocks 75
Don't buy stocks you don't plan to hold long-term from the start
Big pre-market fluctuations, friends recommended quite a few stocks, and it seems profits have already been made at this point. Resisting temptation isn't easy—after all, who doesn't love money? But I need to remember the lessons from past losses. No matter who recommends, be grateful for profits, but only blame yourself for losses. Thinking for even a second that the recommender is at fault is completely wrong. Of all the recommended stocks, only Zim made money—everything else I bought lost money, forcing me to cut losses. There's still SenseTime, which I haven't sold yet, but the amount is small. I'll wait for my friend's next update—no rush.
Today, I added MSFT at 450, VOO at 625, and META at 600 pre-market. Didn't get NVDA at 170 or QQQ at 605—will keep waiting. Also set orders for VOO at 615 and META at 585—let's see if there's a chance.
Seeing today's market isn't favorable, I'm ready to max out my position. Will deposit funds tomorrow, but seems there's no hurry now.
I'm thinking of checking if there's $6.97—no special meaning, just my OCD acting up. After 6.99, 6.98, the next one has to be 6.97, hahaha.
Sometimes I find myself a bit ridiculous. I follow my friend's A-share ETF DCA strategy, but because I missed by $0.024, I insist on waiting for that exact number—just to hit a desired figure…………
On a business trip in Beijing today, -13°C, not as cold as I imagined, and surprisingly no snow.
Time to sleep—tomorrow will be another great day~
Let's get rich slowly and live to 150.
