Last night was truly a Black Friday night, with accounts experiencing significant drawdowns. Logically speaking, after experiencing the US stock market for so long, one should be able to handle it a bit better. Unexpectedly, when it comes to money, I still got blinded by greed. Can only comfort myself that next week will be better 😞, worth waiting for.
The US released the May non-farm payroll data last night, which overall showed it was still very strong, with 172,000 new jobs added, doubling market expectations. The unemployment rate remained stable at 4.3% for the third consecutive month. As soon as the data came out, the market instantly fully priced in a "25 basis point rate hike before December," with the probability of a hike soaring from 48% to 65%. Unfortunately, the market didn't buy it; the beating was still delivered.
Cathie Wood bought 100,250 shares of CRCL, 87,414 shares of BEAM, 13,065 shares of COIN, 15,796 shares of DASH, 141,086 shares of PONY, 61,879 shares of XE, and 73,671 shares of KDK today.
Sold 1,327,067 shares of ACHR and 2,074 shares of AMD.
