Three small-cap stocks experienced a collective roller coaster ride on the same day: $Regentis Biomaterials(RGNT.US) +88%, $eLong Power(ELPW.US) +51%, $Ambitions Enterprise(AHMA.US) +36%.
The first two have some reasons behind them—$Regentis Biomaterials(RGNT.US) announced that training for European surgeons for its cartilage repair hydrogel product will begin in Q3, a small step from CE certification towards commercialization; $eLong Power(ELPW.US) is due to project approval news combined with an extremely low float. $Ambitions Enterprise(AHMA.US) had no announcements at all, purely relying on capital to pump a UAE exhibition and tourism stock from around $1 to an intraday high of $5 before crashing it back down.
All three had intraday swings in the hundreds of percent range, a classic low-float play pattern: pump pre-market, dump at the open. News is the fuse, but the float is the real explosive.
