$ViaSat(VSAT.US) fell 7-8 points, with trading volume more than doubling. There's clearly concentrated selling in the satellite communications sector; $Iridium Comm(IRDM.US) actually rose slightly.
Both are in satellite communications, but one is being dumped while the other holds steady. Is $ViaSat(VSAT.US) falling so sharply due to company-specific news I haven't seen, or are highly leveraged satellite operators being sold off first as risk appetite shrinks? It looks more like the latter— $Iridium Comm(IRDM.US) has a much cleaner cash flow and balance sheet. What the market is really differentiating is "who can withstand the pressure of interest rates and financing."
