$QQQ 260706 716 Put(QQQ260706P716000.US)$Invesco QQQ Trust(QQQ.US)

Off work. It just couldn't fall any further. Felt like it was just oscillating there since the morning night market, and couldn't drop either. Sentiment doesn't seem as panicky as last week, but it's unclear how it will move later. Let's lock in the profits first.

Overall: 6.5/10, made money, but the process wasn't good enough.

P&L

Buy: 1.62 + 1.31 + 1.03 = 3.96

Sell: 1.76 * 2 + 1.81 = 5.33

Net profit: 1.37 * 100 = +$137

Return on capital: approx. +34.6%

Entry: 5/10

Your first contract entry at 1.62 was a bit early. The 5m chart showed QQQ still ranging around 720 at that time, having rallied all the way from 709 to 721. The short side wasn't fully confirmed. A cleaner put entry should wait for:

- Break below 720.3/719.8

- Failed bounce back up

- 5m forms a lower high

- Then enter the put

Holding: 4/10

The biggest issue was you continuously averaged down from 1.62 -> 1.31 -> 1.03.

Made money this time, but this is the most dangerous habit with 0DTE. Because if QQQ reclaimed above 721, these 3 contracts could all go to zero together.

This wasn't "excellent scaling in", more like "the direction bailed you out later".

Exit: 8/10

This was sold well. You exited at 1.76/1.81, already a total return of over +30%, in line with the 0DTE quick harvest rule. Shouldn't regret not holding longer here.

Runner qualification: None.

This wasn't an A+ one-way trending day runner. The 5m was a high-range consolidation followed by a pullback, not a clean trend sliding down along VWAP/moving averages. With this structure, you should scalp, not fantasize about a big wave.

Conclusion

Can take this profitable trade, but the rating can't be too high.

The correct review is:

- Direction call: Okay, the put ended up being right

- Entry: Early

- Adding: Violated rule by averaging down

- Exit: Excellent

- Next optimization: Max 1 contract first, wait for 719.8 to break and a failed bounce before adding the 2nd, not just adding on price drop

If you've already closed this trade completely, this one is enough for today, don't keep trading.
