$Lianhe Sowell(LHSW.US) nearly tripled in a single day, and $Zhongchao(ZCMD.US) also doubled directly. Two low-priced small-cap China concept stocks surged with heavy volume on the same day. $Lianhe Sowell(LHSW.US) at least had the catalyst of CEO share purchases, while $Zhongchao(ZCMD.US) was purely a technical short squeeze due to its small float after a reverse split to maintain listing status, with no fundamental changes.
Is this kind of multi-fold surge in a day a sign that capital is starting to target the line of low-priced China concept shell stocks, or are they just two isolated spikes? It looks more like the latter. A sharp rally without sustained buying support often means those who buy later are just carrying the sedan chair for those who got in earlier.
