Giant Interactive Group (002558.SZ) has released its 2026 interim results forecast. The company expects its net profit attributable to shareholders of the listed company in the first half of the year to be between 20 billion yuan and 22 billion yuan, representing a year-on-year increase of 157.38% to 183.12%. It also expects its net profit after deducting non-recurring gains and losses to be between 22 billion yuan and 24 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 172.74% to 197.54%.
The announcement shows that the company expects both operating revenue and profit to achieve significant year-on-year growth in the first half of 2026, mainly driven by the continued high-level revenue contribution from its blockbuster mobile game "Supernatural Action Team," which provided crucial support for the performance growth in the first half.
During the reporting period, "Supernatural Action Team" performed impressively in operations, with its daily and monthly gross transaction volumes reaching record highs during the Spring Festival. Entering the second quarter, the game maintained a stable trend, launching activities such as the "Gold Digging Festival" to continuously enrich its content.
To welcome the 2026 summer season, "Supernatural Action Team" launched a major update on July 2nd—a co-branded map "Yunnan Insect Valley" with the national-level IP "Ghost Blows Out the Light." This update cleverly integrates the original classic scenes and adventure stories with the game's core "gold digging" gameplay. Upon release, it received widespread attention and praise from players.
In overseas markets, the international version of "Supernatural Action Team," titled "Tomb Busters," officially launched in Japan, South Korea, and the United States on May 27th, simultaneously covering iOS, Android, and PC platforms. On its first day, it surged to No. 3 on Japan's iOS free game chart and No. 7 on South Korea's chart, achieving a good start in its global expansion strategy.
At the same time, the company has been meticulously cultivating its "Evergreen Game" strategy.
