$Boston Scientific(BSX.US) saw a small gain and led the way, $CVS Health(CVS.US) basically didn't move, while $Oscar Health(OSCR.US) dropped by five or six points.

The healthcare sector is split in two: large medical device stocks are feasting on Abbott's earnings report, while insurance stocks are weighed down by concerns over rising healthcare costs, with small insurance tech companies hit especially hard.

Within the same healthcare basket, is the strength of devices versus weakness in insurance just a temporary phenomenon during earnings season, or the main theme for the year? I bet it's the main theme—structural inflation at the cost end is a structural issue for insurers, but just noise for device makers.
