Both are working on perception and computing for vehicles, but the rhythm differs based on customers: Horizon's design wins have already landed in multiple new domestic car models, with volume increasing quarter by quarter; $Ambarella(AMBA.US)'s automotive business is still waiting for more platform switches, so there is limited patience in its valuation. Horizon stands at the 97% position within the 20-day range, while $Ambarella(AMBA.US) is only at 28%.
On the same path of smart driving chips, one continues to be added to at high levels, while the other grinds back and forth in the bottom range 🙃 Those holding the latter can only rely on faith to get through this period.
