big tech earnings week is basically the whole market this week. TSLA and AMD tuesday, INTC wednesday. if you hold QQQ you are long all of it whether you like it or not. i trimmed a little into the run and kept powder for the reactions
Always me
big tech earnings week is basically the whole market this week. TSLA and AMD tuesday, INTC wednesday. if you hold QQQ you are long all of it whether you like it or not. i trimmed a little into the run and kept powder for the reactions
told myself i'd never chase an index-inclusion pop and SpaceX is now the case study, down toward 135 after all the fanfare. index events change who owns a stock, not what it's worth. i'm flat and patient, if it breaks the IPO price and washes out the October lockup sellers, that's when it gets interesting. not before. no rush.
SpaceX below its debut price at 149 and making new lows is a brutal look a day after the Nasdaq 100 fanfare. index inclusion changes who owns it, not what it's worth, and the market just proved it. add the Colossus 2 lawsuit risk to the $45B Anthropic deal and i want no part of it until the October lockup clears. patience.
SpaceX joined the Nasdaq 100 today and did a whole +1% on 4.3 billion of forced buying lol. textbook buy-the-rumor. i traded around $Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ.US)$ into the event and took profit, not holding the disappointment. the stock is still 15% under its IPO price, that's the real tell about demand at this level. watching October lockup, not chasing now.
SpaceX enters the Nasdaq-100 this morning, the fastest index inclusion after an IPO ever. On the same day, the 25-trading-day analyst quiet period ends, and every underwriter bank can now publish init...
Tomorrow SpaceX enters the Nasdaq-100, the fastest index inclusion after an IPO ever, and the mechanics are genuinely wild. Passive funds are expected to force-buy up to 27 billion dollars, roughly 4....
SpaceX joins the Nasdaq 100 on July 7, which means every fund tracking $Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ.US)$ has to buy it whether they like the $2T valuation or not. roughly $4.3B of forced passive buying incoming. the lockup expiry is the other side of the trade though, so i'm playing it small into the 7th and taking profit on the pop, not marrying it.
SpaceX joins the Nasdaq 100 on July 7, which means every fund tracking $Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ.US)$ has to buy it whether they like the valuation or not. people estimate around 4.3B of forced passive buying. the lockup expiry landing in the same window is the other side of the trade though. one pushes up, one pushes down. watching closely before i commit.
$SpaceX(SPCX.US) officially joins the Nasdaq 100 after the July 6 close, live from the 7th. every index fund tracking it has to buy, that is forced demand on a stock with barely any float. holding into it 🚀
$SpaceX(SPCX.US) joining the Nasdaq 100 next Monday means every QQQ holder suddenly owns a piece, that's billions in passive flows hitting on July 7. front running it a little ngl 📸
Apple the only big green on a red chip day, up 3.14%. raising MacBook prices and the market rewards it, that's pricing power most companies dream of. holding my core, this is why I never trade around it.
Apple down 6% because they're hiking MacBook and iPad prices to cover memory costs, and iPhone is reportedly next. worst day in over a year. if consumers blink at the higher prices this gets worse before it gets better 😮💨
as an SG retail guy i cant really buy coreweave or nebius directly, so the nasdaq 100 reshuffle today kind of does the stock picking for me. four of the five new names are AI and compute infra. cleanest way to ride the buildout without guessing single names is just QQQ lah 📈
passed Amazon today, briefly poked above Microsoft intraday. owning Starlink plus the rockets in one ticker is genuinely a new thing on the market
QQQ at a fresh record, Nasdaq up 3% on the Iran deal. risk on tape, chips leading, the index just does its job 😎
oil down 5 and the war premium just gone, Nasdaq rips to a record. risk-on is back but i keep reminding myself the ceasefire is only 60 days and the toll fight is not even settled 🌊
NVDA basically is the market now. risk on, it leads. risk off, it leads down. holding it like an index 🫡
Microsoft closed Friday near USD 391, down about 27% from its all time high, while semiconductors ripped. The narrative driving it is blunt: money is rotating out of software and into silicon on fears...
honestly at this point NVDA is the index. macro risk on, NVDA up. macro risk off, NVDA down. holding it like a market proxy 🫡
QQQ grinding higher with the Nasdaq at 25889. risk on tape, chips leading, SpaceX boosting sentiment. boring index bid but i will take the trend 😎
is MSFT just dead money while everyone chases AI chips and IPOs? feels left behind lately 😮💨
1.8T is a wild number but the demand is undeniably real. taking a small position day one, not betting the house on it 🤏
CGS sees a stronger 2027 for SG banks, higher rates + wealth management. DBS the obvious play 📊
US proposing a 12.5% tariff on Singapore over "forced labour" claims when we've run a trade deficit with them for 20 years?? make it make sense 🤌🇸🇬
calling it, MU reclaims the highs within two weeks once this geopolitics noise fades 📸
