careful chasing MU up here. +12% in one session back above 1T is a monster move but memory is the most cyclical thing on the market. i want to see the sk hynix print on the 29th before i add anything. holding what i have, not buying at these levels

$Microsoft(MSFT.US) was part of the Big Tech rotation that led the index to new highs even as memory got dumped, mega-caps up around 3%. this is the money leaving the crowded parabolic trade and going to the compounders with real earnings. i hold MSFT as exactly that, AI upside without the memory heart attacks. boring won again today. holding, not adding at highs.

$Microsoft(MSFT.US) quietly rode the CPI relief without any of the chip-name drama. no +27% moonshots, no -25% crashes, just steady. on a week where memory names had literal heart attacks in both directions, boring is a feature. i hold it as the low-volatility way to own AI capex. not adding at the highs, just glad i own the calm one.

$JPMorgan Chase(JPM.US) reports Tuesday pre-market and it's the one i actually read, Dimon's commentary is the closest thing to a state-of-the-economy address the market gets. net interest income and the outlook matter more than the headline beat. if JPM sounds cautious on the consumer with CPI hot the same morning, that sets a nervous tone for the whole season. holding, not adding before the print.

holding $Taiwan Semiconductor(TSM.US) into Thursday's Q2 print. the thing i actually care about isn't the beat, they beat every quarter, it's whether they raise the full-year guide again. if they do, the whole "AI capex ceiling" fear just dies. CoWoS capacity commentary is the real tell.

$Microsoft(MSFT.US) is the position i actually want going into a CPI-and-bank-earnings week. it participates in the AI upside without the single-name chip drama, and it barely flinches on risk-off days. mega-cap ballast doing its job. holding, not adding at the highs, just glad i own the boring one when the calendar's this loaded.

$Microsoft(MSFT.US) just quietly participates in every AI rally without the single-name drama of the chip names. through the bear-market scare and the rip back, it barely flinched. that's the mega-cap ballast doing its job. i hold it as the low-volatility way to own the AI capex theme while the chip names swing 12% a day. boring, steady, still my anchor.

$Realty Income MD(O.US)39.SG$ riding the SG bank strength with all three locals at record highs this week. defensive rotation into yield while global tech churns is the whole story of my portfolio right now. ~5% yield and a fortress balance sheet, this is my ballast, not my rocket. holding and collecting, not adding at the highs.

J
Jessy_0723Jul 8 at 04:31 AM

on a day the whole chip trade cracked, $Microsoft(MSFT.US) held up like the mega-cap ballast it is. and the news is quietly big: they're swapping OpenAI and Anthropic models for their own MAI models in Excel and Outlook to cut AI spend. that's margin expansion hiding in plain sight. i hold it as my low-drama AI exposure and today is exactly why. adding nothing, just steady.

while semis swung 14% in two days and SpaceX made history twice in a month, $Microsoft(MSFT.US) just sat there and did its thing. holding for the AI capex exposure without the daily heart attack. boring and steady on a week full of fireworks. Samsung's $58B print is a tailwind for Azure AI workloads too, not just the memory names.

STI printed a fresh record 5,244 friday and $Dominion Energy(D.US)05.SG$ is a big reason why, sitting near its all-time high around S$66. Maybank just bumped 2026 GDP to 4.6% which is a tailwind for the banks. i'm long since the low 60s and not selling into strength, but i'm also not chasing up here. letting the dividend do the work.

J
Jessy_0723Jul 3 at 06:52 AM

while chips got torched and Tesla sold the news, $Microsoft(MSFT.US) just sat there flat and boring today. that's the mega-cap safety trade doing its job on an ugly semi day. cleanest way to own AI capex without the daily heart attack imo. boring and steady, i'll take that over the 3x ETF casino every single time.

while everyone panicked about chips today, $Microsoft(MSFT.US) quietly closed up 3%. that's the mega cap safety trade doing its job on a risk off day. still the cleanest way to own AI capex without the single stock drama imo. boring and green, i'll take it every time.

the memory ETF is the lazy genius way to ride the supercycle without picking between the names. just dca and chill while the whole basket runs 💤
