GDS Holdings Limited has sold a $385 million minority stake in DayOne Data Centers, allowing DayOne to repurchase shares at the same price as its recent Series C funding. This transaction enables GDS to recover approximately 95% of its investment at a 6.5 times return. GDS plans to reinvest the proceeds into new business opportunities in China. The remaining equity in DayOne is valued at over $2.2 billion based on the Series C issue price.
