Yay! US has shown their intent and are telling the bond market not to have ideas as they will defend yields no matter what FUD the narratives are.

Modena stock not certain if its a pump and dump after the news and upside yesterday but generally if you want to invest in healthcare or even in the bio field can consider etf with Modena in it for long term investment. Do not all in money, DCA slowly and see if its temporary demand and expectations issues.

It was just a few days ago I mentioned the likelihood of yield curve control and that the US will not sacrifice the stock market at the expense of the bond vigilantes. There were the usual skeptics and rightly so because the textbooks teach you certain things. But the real world is not textbook and the more experienced ones out there will know what I mean. That’s why I keep stating that I am sharing my own opinions and not asking people to agree. 😎

Markets are increasingly differentiating between strong AI-related demand and funding or margin concerns. Semiconductor moves highlight shifting competitive dynamics in custom AI chips, while the Fed minutes reinforce uncertainty over the inflation path and potential policy tightening. Consumer results remain mixed, with resilient sales offset by cautious guidance. Nebius’ financing underscores the capital intensity of AI infrastructure and investors’ sensitivity to dilution and funding requirements.

The US 30-year Treasury yield rose to 5.31%, its highest since July 2007, while the 10-year yield hit 4.70%, a full percentage point above the Fed's target range ceiling.

Long-duration assets faced pressure first. Treasuries are at a 20-year low—is this due to market selling, pessimism about future economic prospects, or the frenzy chasing quick profits in tech chip stocks?

The price movements in memory stocks have been doing sharp swings up and down for weeks but have the fundamentals and demand and supply situation really changed? AI is still a super cycle. I will just ignore the noise.

Memory stocks going down is fine and normal, given that it ran up so much previously. It will go back to the fair value price range. Enter there if wanna then.

Markets have largely rebounded over the last two weeks. Not surprising to see some form of a pullback as people take profits. Time in the market is still better than timing the market for most.

When you compare general markets and tech, it is obvious that one is not for the faint hearted. Looks like risk off rotation again, from risk on high beta to defensive names like healthcare and defensive tech.

When I look at high beta tech, it really resembles a roller coaster. The way it goes up and then down and when it coasts, be prepared for the next thrilling phase. 😂

Yesterday just mentioned beware of roller coaster ride, seems it began last session, get ready to add products spread or buy dips to build back your portfolios if per thesis, direction, which stock am going to buy more? What goes up will comes down and still will goes back up. Nothing is stagnantly just 1 way↕️🤔💭

Market volatility is being driven largely by higher interest rates and rising bond yields. Singapore equities have eased from recent highs as investors remain focused on the interest rate outlook. Despite this the broader economy continues to show resilience, supported by steady exports, technology investment, digitalisation and ongoing growth. Banks and high quality dividend stocks also continue to offer relative stability.

Companies with strong cash flows, solid profitability, healthy balance sheets and reasonable valuations are therefore becoming increasingly attractive.

Memory stocks went up so high, yesterday US memory stocks went down just a bit. Year to date, major memory stocks went up many folds. Let us see the coming performance

Stocks have shown either slowly dip or maybe a correction pullback. System plan will be to slowly dca into a stock that you want to own that will generate good free cash flow and growth for the years you are holding its shares. When to sell can always be +100%,+150% or +200% as a gauge. A win is a win so not compared to others that run 1200% systematically trade.

I see this semiconductor selloff as a healthy reset, not the end of the AI cycle. Higher Treasury yields are pressuring high-growth and capital-intensive names like $Micron Tech(MU.US), $Sandisk(SNDK.US), $Coreweave(CRWV.US) and $Nebius(NBIS.US), but AI infrastructure and memory demand remain strong.

I’m using the pullback to selectively add rather than panic sell. Memory and semiconductor names remain attractive to me for the long-term AI demand story, although I’m keeping some cash ready in case rates trigger more volatility.

I’ll be watching the Fed minutes closely tonight. If the tone turns less hawkish, this correction could reverse quickly. For me, pullbacks are opportunities to accumulate quality AI exposure, not reasons to abandon the thesis. 📈
