    $Nike(NKE.US)

    Background:

Nike is currently in a deep turnaround phase rather than a normal growth phase. FY2026 revenue fell about 2% to $46.4B, and the stock closed at $35.78 on Sept. 16, 2026, more than 50% below its 52-week high.

    My trade:

suffering from about 40% loss, I wouldn't average down aggressively yet. My entry isn't catastrophic for a company like Nike because the brand, global distribution and balance sheet remain substantial assets—but the problem is that the turnaround may take several years, and the stock can remain depressed while earnings recover.

    Takeaway:

I would HOLD the existing Nike shares, but I would not add heavily yet.

The $57.57 cost basis is high relative to today's price, but selling at ~$36 would crystallize a very large loss just as Nike is attempting a turnaround.

🚨 Lululemon at $100: Will the New CEO Be Able to Save It?

Lululemon has crashed hard trading around $100, its lowest point in 8 years as of Friday close.

    🔷 What triggered it? A terrible Q2 2026:

    1️⃣ Same-store sales plunged 9%

2️⃣ Full-year revenue forecast cut. This is their 2nd time this year

3️⃣ North America (its key market) even worse: −12% comps

🔷 The big question: Can the new CEO fix this?

Heidi O’Neill, ex-Nike veteran with 25 years’ experience, takes over September 8.

Her main mission is to speed up product innovation and rebuild global brand pull.

🔷 Her road ahead is going to be tough:

1️⃣ Core product struggle - Struggle Market share as Alo Yoga & Vuori keep stealing market share

2️⃣ Inventory mess - To clear excessive stock without killing its premium pricing power

3️⃣ Internal friction - board tensions still unresolved

4️⃣ Profit mirage - better gross margins relied heavily on a $134.5M one-time tariff refund

4 Hourly Chart picture shows that it is still on a strong downtrend from $240. The recent bounce near $129–$130 got crushed. The current RSI is 46.90, off the lows but momentum is shaky.

    🔮 What’s Next?

    • 📌 Base Case: Sideways between $90–$100 — waits for real proof of improvement

    • 📌 Bear Case: Breaks below $100 → next stop $70–$80

    • 📌 Bull Case: Reclaims $129–$130 → could signal real turnaround

The full infographic lays out all risks & scenarios.

Will you buy LULU at $100 or wait for clear turnaround signs enter? Do you think the new CEO can help to save Lululemon? Let’s discuss.

Michael Burry TrackerAug 26 at 01:40 PM

One of Michael Burry's top positions needs help

Lululemon just hit its worst drawdown in nearly 20 years, down 77% from its all-time high

Yet Michael Burry just doubled his position to 17% of his portfolio

He called it "screaming cheap" ahead of earnings on September 3rd

    Here's what he sees:

    • LULU trades under 10x earnings, the only major U.S. clothing retailer that cheap

    • Only 2 of 32 analysts give the stock rate a "Buy", which is the same bearish setup right before its 2018 turnaround

    • The margin damage is coming from tariffs, not falling demand, down 380 basis points, partly offset by cost cuts

    • A new CEO from Nike takes over in September, the same playbook that quadrupled the stock off its 2014 low

Nike’s China Reset: Short-Term Pain, Long-Term Gain? Here’s Why Investors Should Pay Attention

Nike’s strategic overhaul in China marks a decisive shift from pursuing volume to protecting brand value. As highlighted by CNBC, the company is streamlining its digital presence by concentrating sales through its official channels and a select group of authorised platforms—including Tmall, JD.com, Douyin and Nike’s own app—instead of relying on numerous online distributors. This “cleaner digital strategy” aims to reduce excessive discounting, improve pricing discipline and deliver a more consistent premium shopping experience. While this transition may temporarily weigh on sales as weaker distributors are phased out, it strengthens Nike’s long-term competitive position.

Fundamentally, FY2026 remains a rebuilding year. Revenue growth is stabilising, gross margins are gradually improving and inventory levels have normalised, although Greater China continues to face intense competition from domestic brands. Management’s focus on profitable growth rather than market share should support stronger earnings quality over time.

Technically, Nike has established a higher-low pattern following its earnings recovery, but faces key resistance after a sharp rebound. A sustained breakout would reinforce the bullish trend.

For options investors, the strategy depends on positioning. Shareholders assigned through short puts can monetise elevated premiums by writing covered calls while collecting potential upside. Investors seeking new exposure may consider selling cash-secured puts near technical support levels, allowing them to accumulate shares at attractive effective prices if volatility returns. If Nike successfully executes its China turnaround, patient investors could benefit from both earnings recovery and multiple expansion over the medium term.

$Nike(NKE.US)After a long period of weakness, Nike (NKE) has finally moved back into the green for my position with a +0.37% unrealized gain. It’s only a small profit, but it’s a nice reminder that patience can pay off. I’m still optimistic about Nike’s long-term brand strength, innovation pipeline, and global presence. Short-term volatility doesn’t change my investment thesis, so I’ll continue holding and monitor upcoming earnings and consumer demand trends. One step at a time—slow and steady. #TradeShowcase

Added Nike (NKE) to my portfolio around 42.25, and it’s currently slightly below my entry at -0.54%. Im actually doing a covered call once again on Nike haha!! expiry k. This friday, see whether can success this time again. Short-term price action remains weak as the market continues to price in slower consumer spending and margin concerns. However, I believe much of the pessimism is already reflected at these levels. Nike remains a global brand with strong long-term potential, and I’m comfortable holding through the volatility while waiting for a stronger turnaround in earnings and sentiment. Patience is part of the investment journey.
