If you lack wisdom, you must learn to follow
Someone asked about the logic behind investing in $Amazon(AMZN.US). I've posted quite a bit about this before, so here's a quick summary:
1. After reading the book "Long-Termism," I found that this company's culture aligns with my values—customer-first, not deviating for short-term gains. I really resonate with the CEO's consistent philosophy!
2. From selling books online to expanding into a full-fledged e-commerce empire, then to cloud (AWS) -> digital media (Prime membership ecosystem) -> smart home hardware, each step has been steady, though there have been failures like their phone venture.
3. They've been investing in AI for a long time, and it hasn't fully taken off yet. I think cloud + AI has a story to tell in the future.
4. Their logistics also heavily utilize robotics, and they've been quietly making progress in this area.
Overall, this company has solid fundamentals, and it wouldn't be easy for anyone to take it down. 🤔
Just my personal opinion, not investment advice!
