Buffett's senior apprenticeMarket Analysis for May 5th

This decline is simply deleveraging; don't pay attention to the market noise. Broadcom's earnings report is fine, storage is fine, and the Fed's rate hike isn't the reason either. The market has been rising for too long and needs a big sell-off to flush out leveraged funds. It's that simple.

Ordinary people must deleverage first during times like these, but don't sell core holdings at a loss. If you have money, keep buying the dip. 2026-2030 will be a big bull market; semiconductors, storage, and aerospace will rise to unbelievable levels.
