CITIC International lowers its forecast for this year's new energy vehicle sales, with Geely as the top choice

CMB International has lowered its 2023 sales forecast for new energy vehicles, expecting retail and wholesale sales to grow by 12.6% and 15.1%, respectively. At the same time, due to poor sales performance, it has downgraded the earnings forecasts for Great Wall Motors, XPeng, Leapmotor, and GAC. The earnings forecasts for BYD, Nio, and Li Auto for 2025 have been raised, with expectations that Nio and Li Auto will still incur losses. Geely Auto maintains its earnings forecast, continuing to be regarded as the industry's top choice, with a "Buy" rating and a target price of 25 yuan

Leapmotor B03X celebrates European debut

Leapmotor has made its European debut with the B03X, a battery-electric vehicle previously known as the A10 in China, at the Brussels Motor Show. The model is part of Leapmotor's strategy to expand in Europe, a key region for its growth. The B03X is built on a new global platform and aims to meet international standards. The company also showcased the B05, a sporty SUV, and a range-extender hybrid variant of the B10. Prices for the B10 with range extender are yet to be announced, while the battery-electric version starts at €29,990.
