The Feds will release their minutes tonight and that makes the markets’ direction a teeny weeny tricky. Those minutes reflect what they thought prior to the labour data. So a dovish one might encourage the bulls. However the markets look leggy here and are due a pullback.

$Tencent 5xLongSG270930(PSJW.SG)Context: Tencent has continued to weaken, and my leveraged position has fallen further since my previous update.
My trade: I’m still holding my Tencent 5xLong position with a cost of 0.045. The market price has dropped to 0.025, putting me down 44.44%. I haven’t added to the position because I don’t want to increase my exposure while the trend remains weak.
Takeaway: This has been a difficult trade, but also a useful lesson about leverage and risk management. Averaging down is not always the answer, and having a clearer exit plan is important when a trade moves against me. @Captain's Treasure

NFP showed weaker job numbers than anticipated, which reversed expectations of near term Fed rate hikes. Markets are no longer pricing in one more rate hike by end of year. This should give some relief at the short end of the curve and has led to a broad rally since the data was released

Job reports are out, with the labour market faltering in September with a lower increase in jobs by just 29,000, well below the forecast of 84,000. With a lower than expected growth, concerns over inflation eases slightly and rate hike probability hence drops further for October, albeit likely to have 1 more in November/December.

Just bought some more Reits today at a bargain price. Could it drop some more? Absolutely. Bond yields are still skyrocketing which is one of the major factors in play. However, I'm accumulating Reits for dividend play in the long term, and dividing my capital for a few different price range to better capture the dips.
