Mag Silver

Mag 7 companies recovered a little but are still probably in a drawdown as the attention spans across other IPOs & memory stocks. Overall market direction probably still bullish till end of year but short term technicals leaning towards bearish/consolidating.

Our local market finally fell following consecutive days of gains, but managed to recover slightly at the close. Reits remain relatively stable for now, but I expect prices to fall if and when the FED announces rate hikes eventually. Banks cooled off a little but are still in the midst of a bullish run.

This is the time not to panic if youre holding chinese Internet companies. Hold on for the long term. Another lesson learned is that don't use leverage to trade. Only invest/trade with the money that youre comfortable to lose 100%.

The stocks have been rising for so long. This is just a normal pullback. Be cool, wait patiently and buy low. The Vix is not at the peak yet

$NVIDIA(NVDA.US) Is it too early to say that Nvidia is no longer that explosive growth stock that can get investors rich? Over the past few years, Nvidia has had stock splits and enjoyed its fair share of insane bullish runs, but recent trends point towards CPU and memory shortages mean that "smart money" is flowing to other companies like Micron, SanDisk and even AMD. Huge Capex concerns also had investors thinking twice parking their money in the Mag 7 stocks. Yet Nvidia continues to trade at a low forward P/E ratio that makes it attractive to remain invested in. While everybody is rushing to board the Google hypetrain, I choose to remain on board with Nvidia and not sell their shares as I believe it is the steady ship that allows me to sleep well at night. @Bridge Buzz SG

$Alphabet(GOOGL.US) Google cloud exceeding expectations and Alphabet in general setting mew records for quarterly earnings, what a time to be a Google Investor! Google being one of the only performing Mag 7 stocks YTD, even increasing dividend for the future as well. This signals strong confidence within the board directors and gives investors a peace of mind heading into future earnings. If Alphabet continues performing exceptionally at this level, we could see it hit 400 comfortably by the end of the year. @Bridge Buzz SG

$Amazon(AMZN.US) Amazon is reporting earnings after the bell and AWS remains one of the key things to take note of. On top of that, tonight will be Powell's last FED meeting and rate cut decision, and this would definitely affect the overall market on top of the earnings of Mag 7 companies. Expect volatility of maybe around 5% based on options statistics and how people are estimating earnings to turn out. @Bridge Buzz SG

This week is most likely one of the most important weeks with Mag 7 companies reporting earnings as well as Powell last FOMC meeting. Trade cautiously!
