
SEMI: Global semiconductor equipment sales rose 15% year-on-year to a record US$135.1 billion in 2025, led by AI-related demand for advanced logic and memory gear. China remained the largest buyer at $49.3 billion, down 0.5%, while Taiwan grew 90% to a record $31.5 billion and South Korea +26% to $25.8 billion. The three combined for 79% of the total. Chip testing equipment led growth, up 55%, followed by assembly at 21% as advanced packaging continued to expand.
