What the JPMorgan flip actually means for Intel

The bear-to-neutral move from JPMorgan matters less for the rating itself and more for what it signals: even the skeptics are done pressing the short case into earnings. Intel is not fixed, foundry still loses money and 18A has to prove it can win outside customers, not just internal volume. But the cheaper-AI Crescent Island angle gives it a story it did not have a year ago, and the risk-reward into the 29th looks more balanced than the tape suggests. I am keeping a small starter and will size up only if gross margin and foundry losses actually inflect. This is a show-me quarter, not a hero trade.
