The semiconductor sector is really a tearjerker today... Despite the news of Texas Instruments' acquisition, the stock price still fell. I can't figure out what the market is hesitating about.
Rambus got hammered right after its earnings report was released, but then it bounced back. This kind of volatility is heart-stopping.
The worst was Amkor, dragged down by the entire sector, -5% is really unbearable. Just take it easy now, with sector rotation and chaotic news flow, those holding can continue to hold, and those not in the market should just wait and see—it's too easy to get "trapped".
