    $SoFi Tech(SOFI.US)

Context: SOFI has declined 30% so far in 2026, despite the fintech company reporting better-than-expected Q2 results. The company's member base continued to reflect strength and grew 35% year-over-year to 15.8 million in Q2 2026. However, investors were disappointed when SoFi raised its full-year revenue guidance while keeping its earnings outlook intact as the company continues to make growth investments.

    Bulls highlight that SoFi's Q2 2026 deposits grew 54% year-over-year to about $46 billion.

SoFi is increasingly becoming more than just a consumer lender, with Q2 results showing faster member growth, deeper product adoption, a larger deposit base, and rising fee revenue. Notably, members grew 35% while products increased 42% in Q2 2026, with existing members driving more than half of new product additions.

However, bears cite SOFI stock's valuation and dependence on loan-sale earnings, especially amid a more volatile macro backdrop.

My Trade: Averaging down below $17.2 and long term price target $23-25.

Takeaway: Sofi's prime has passed after struggling to maintain the $20+ range. It is worth taking note however, that FinTech is a rather cyclical industry, and that Sofi remains fundamentally sound while adding new members. @Captain's Treasure

$SoFi Tech(SOFI.US)SOFI remains one of the more interesting fintech growth stories after delivering strong Q2 results, record revenue and raising its 2026 outlook.

Despite the post-earnings pullback, member growth and profitability trends remain strong, while recent analyst upgrades suggest confidence in the companyโ€™s long-term potential

Recent consolidation looks more like a pause than a trend reversal. Iโ€™m positioning for a potential rebound as investors refocus on SOFIโ€™s growth, expanding product ecosystem and improving earnings profile

SOFI can reclaim the $19โ€“20 range in the near term. Rising Treasury yields and market volatility remain risks, but strong fundamentals and improving sentiment could support a move higher

$SoFi Tech(SOFI.US) SoFi shares were slightly up after a senior Piper Sandler analyst initiated coverage on the digital financial services company. In his research note, Patrick Moley assigned SOFI an โ€œOverweightโ€ rating and set a $22 price objective, indicating potential upside of more than 20% over the next 12 months. Moley sees SoFi Technologies as a standout โ€œhigh-growth personal finance storyโ€ well-positioned to capitalize on structural shifts in consumer banking. His report highlighted SOFIโ€™s extensive runway in both personal lending and debt consolidation, particularly among younger, creditworthy demographics, such as millennials and Gen Z. As high interest rates keep debt management top of mind for consumers, the fintech firmโ€™s digital-first platform continues to capture market share from traditional brick-and-mortar lenders. Beyond lending, Moley pointed to SOFIโ€™s โ€œpowerful product flywheelโ€ as the key engine driving member retention and cross-selling capabilities. Bundling checking, savings, investment accounts, and credit cards into a unified ecosystem enabled SoFi to post a 35% increase in memberships and a 43% increase in product adoption in its fiscal Q2. This multi-product strategy lowers acquisition costs while expanding lifetime customer value. Moreover, I expect Sofi to drop when FED does introduce the 25 basis point rate hike. Hence I am currently sticking to what I already own and wait for it to play out. @Captain's Treasure

$SoFi Tech(SOFI.US)SoFi remains constructive as strong Q2 fundamentals and a supportive macro environment continue to strengthen the long-term outlook. The recent consolidation around $18 appears more like profit taking than a deterioration in fundamentals.

    Q2 results were strong:

    โ€ข Revenue $1.21B, +42.5% YoY

    โ€ข EPS $0.12 vs $0.11 expected

    โ€ข Net margin 14.78%

โ€ข Strong loan originations and improving profitability

    โ€ข FY2026 EPS guidance $0.60

The July CPI result of 3.4% headline and 2.5% core was also supportive. While the numbers were in line with expectations rather than a major downside surprise, they reduce the risk of a renewed inflation shock and remain constructive for rate sensitive fintech stocks.

Technically, SOFI is holding around its 200-day moving average near $18, while the 50-day moving average is around $17.45. This keeps the short term structure constructive

$Palantir Tech(PLTR.US)If you're investing for 5โ€“10 years, I still think Palantir is one of the highest-quality AI software companies. However:

I wouldn't chase a huge rally after earnings.

Have been holding it for about 2 months, over one night, it all paid off. Hahaha

I'd prefer buying gradually on pullbacks of 10โ€“20%, rather than investing a large lump sum at current levels.

From our earlier conversations, I know you already own growth names like SoFi and have significant holdings in DBS, so Palantir could add AI exposureโ€”but I would keep it to a moderate allocation because it's considerably more volatile than your bank investments.

$SoFi Tech(SOFI.US)SoFi continued to show resilience today, rebounding after recent earnings volatility as investors refocused on the companyโ€™s long-term growth. Despite cautious guidance weighing on sentiment initially, buying interest returned as the market recognized SoFiโ€™s strong execution and improving fundamentals.

Fundamentally, the story remains compelling. SoFi delivered another record quarter with 40%+ revenue growth, record loan originations, expanding membership and raised its full-year revenue outlook. The company continues to evolve beyond lending into a diversified digital financial platform, supported by growing fee-based businesses and a stronger banking franchise.

Short-term volatility is expected after earnings, but the long-term trend remains constructive. If SoFi continues to execute and deliver consistent growth, pullbacks may provide opportunities for investors looking to build positions rather than reasons to panic.

$SoFi Tech(SOFI.US)SoFi continues to demonstrate strong execution despite recent volatility. Record revenue, expanding member growth and raised full-year guidance reinforce that its long-term growth story remains intact. While higher operating expenses and elevated Treasury yields have pressured sentiment, the core lending, financial services and technology platform businesses continue to gain momentum.

With Microsoft and Amazon reaffirming that AI investments are driving real business growth, broader market confidence has improved. If Treasury yields stabilize, growth stocks like SoFi could see renewed buying interest.

Recent pullback appears more like profit-taking than a deterioration in fundamentals. A sustained move above resistance could open the door for a retest of the $18โ€“19 area in the coming weeks, while holding above support would keep the medium-term uptrend intact.

๐Ÿ“ˆ Strong fundamentals remain in place. The key catalysts now are easing bond yields, continued loan growth and management delivering on its raised 2026 guidance

$SoFi Tech(SOFI.US) I'm currently sitting on a loss, but the business itself did not disappoint. Today's sell-off appears to be driven more by valuation and expectations than by a deterioration in fundamentals. SoFi still delivered strong revenue growth, record member additions, and raised its revenue outlook.

I'm going to buy a small additional amount, since I still believe in the company over the next 5+ years.
