- IRANIAN LEADERSHIP IS DUPLICITOUS - THEY SAY WE AREN’T TALKING BUT THEY KNOW WE ARE- NO MATTER WHAT THEY SAY, WE ARE TALKING TO FIND A SOLUTIONThis is actually pretty bullish from Trump and a 180 from his posts last week about bombing Iran heavily.He is literally admitting that conversations are happening to come to a deal, he’s just mad that Iran isn’t acknowledging the conversation (which obviously they don’t want to in order to retain leverage) but the takeaway is that both sides are talking.Oil down 7% and SPY less than 1% away from ATHs.Not a horrible start to August as the market is digesting the hyperscaler capex numbers and starting to reward them, if oil meaningfully comes down on a ceasefire, markets might really start to like the changing macro landscape.Source: amit
