    $MINIMAX-W(00100.HK)

🤖 Is the AI Rally Cooling? MiniMax Down 80% — Time to Buy?

MiniMax Group has plunged from roughly HK$900 down to just HK$182.1, an 80% drop 📉.

Is this a deep discount or is the market signalling real risks in AI stocks?

    Here is the full picture:

    🚀 The Positives

1️⃣ Revenue exploded and up 283.1% year-on-year in the first half of 2026, reaching US$116.6 million

2️⃣ Gross margin improved from 12.1% to 17.9%

3️⃣ Strong cash position. About US$1.32 billion in the bank gives the company plenty of runway

    ⚠️ The Concerns

1️⃣ Still deep in the red

The adjusted net loss hit US$293 million for the first half.

    2️⃣ Heavy R&D spending continues

    The company profitability remains uncertain.

    3️⃣ Price keeps falling

Technically it is still in a clear downtrend. Oversold conditions do not automatically mean good value and a bounce is not guaranteed.

    💡 The Big Question

Can MiniMax turn that fast revenue growth into consistent profits before investors lose confidence?🤔

A lower share price does not mean that it is being cheap. Investors are concerned with the current valuation, the cash burn, the margins and the path to sustainable earnings. All these matters more than just the price drop alone.

🤔 Would you catch the train to buy at HK$182.1, wait for the trend to turn or stay on the sidelines?

Let us discuss what you think below!

Markets are rather poised at the moment. They have done remarkably well in the face of rising yields, oil prices etc. Inflation numbers if lower than expected might provide a boost.

Oil transit through the Straits of Hormuz seems to be picking up so that might indicate that Oman and the US are able to circumvent the blockage. Hence the stance but not surprised with a Taco coming up as well.

Haha….Looks like the TACO script is in play again. And markets still fall for it! Expecting talks to progress and the president’s stance to soften again….
