At last we have a date for the peace deal signing! It’s good to have progress. Now let’s hope they sign that thing!

US-Iran Peace Deal is all done, just left with putting pen to paper on Friday. Markets roared back upwards, but how long will this relief last this time round? There is still time for things to go wrong (let's hope not), but I genuinely won't be surprised if it doesn't turn out as planned. Regardless, we can enjoy the temp stabilisation of stocks for now.

Main risk is whether the US-Iran deal holds any renewed tension in the strait of hormuz could send oil prices climbing again just as quick

At last we have a peace deal with an actual date on the table. It has been on and off for so long it has to get done at some point of time!

I’m not vested in SIA and SATS. I think this kind of upside due to the drop in oil price won’t last as there will soon be profit taking.

War on Iran, this time really happened. Crude oil price dropped more than 7%. will all Airlines stock going back to normal business era ? what do you think?

7% drop in crude is a meaningful macro tailwind for Singapore names. SIA stands out because fuel is one of its biggest cost items, while SATS benefits from recovering travel and cargo activity. Logistics related counters could also see renewed interest as shipping routes normalize. For now, the market is pricing in peace and lower energy costs. If the Iran deal holds, there's room for further upside if it unravels, expect a sharp reversal in the same names that are rallying today.

The ongoing SaaSpocalypse is a classic case of a fog-of-war. The common narrative and daily experience of AI agents replacing human in workflow may be derived from tasks that are low-value, repetitive, low-judgement ones. The real concern of an enterprise lays on a system or record, governance and security, and changes to these needs to be more deliberate as the risks to the enterprise is significant. The changes will not happen overnight and the current landscape is more likely a case of agent augmentation which the SaaS companies are actively doing. A hybrid seat + token use charging is already emerging. Serious investors should understand enterprise software and system implementation strategies instead of relying on personal, end-user experience.

1. We have another 5 days to go before signing the peace deal between US and Iran. Anything can happen.

2. President Trump is set to travel to France for the upcoming G7 summit which will take place from June 15-17. I am keen to hear what is going to say about his plan with NATO and the peace treaty.

3. I expect crude oil price to come down to around $80 before it stay about $100. The reason is simple. It is not easy to wind back the clock for the facilities damages. It takes time to repair the damages and clear the water mines. Market will realise it . Not a simple ABC plan and execution.

The Iran deal caused oil prices to plummet by about 7%, and Hong Kong airline stocks have already surged in response. In Singapore, SIA, SATS, and logistics REITs will all benefit from cheaper fuel and the reopening of the Strait of Hormuz route.

SIA's stock price has been under long-term pressure due to oil fuel prices and previous investments in India. Although it is a world-class airline, its stock price is still in a bearish trend.

$SpaceX(SPCX.US) | SpaceX's Nasdaq IPO was heavily oversubscribed; bookbuilding closes after Wednesday's market close

$Echostar(SATS.US) acquired SpaceX equity by "selling spectrum." In 2025, it reached a spectrum transaction with SpaceX (AWS-4H block, approximately 65 MHz), with SpaceX paying a large amount of cash plus up to $11 billion worth of SpaceX stock. This deal significantly improved EchoStar's balance sheet and resulted in SpaceX holdings accounting for an extremely high proportion of $Echostar(SATS.US)'s market value.

Since the rocket explosion incident of Blue Origin, the stock performance of space-related stocks has not been good, and we haven't looked at $Echostar(SATS.US)'s trading data for a while.

Overall implied volatility of $Echostar(SATS.US) over the past two years (top-left chart): Although the stock price has recently pulled back, implied volatility remains high. This high level is unlikely to come down before SpaceX's IPO. Comparing its historical record, the peaks of particularly high implied volatility did not correspond to stock price tops; they even had the potential to be starting points for rallies. From this perspective alone, it is positive.

Volatility is still present; stock price momentum is still present.

The top-right chart shows the recent trend of the Put/Call volatility spread. This result surprised me. We can see the volatility spread entering a deep negative range, with current call option buying momentum extremely strong. Interestingly, even though the stock price has significantly retreated, the momentum of long-side chasing is even stronger.

The bottom-left chart separately plots the volatility of options. It is very clear that the strong SpaceX IPO narrative persists, and for all options expiring within the next month, call option volatility is significantly higher than put option volatility. Long-side momentum is very strong and confident, ignoring the recent stock price decline.

The bottom-right chart shows that in the last trading session, there was a significant scale of call option closing positions. If the volatility spread continues to move more negative even while these positions are being closed, I speculate that the closing was led by buyers. Sellers who originally sold call options took profits and exited early, taking advantage of the significant recent stock price decline.

Conclusion: Although the $Echostar(SATS.US) trading landscape still has a strong $SpaceX IPO narrative component, even disregarding this event, $Echostar(SATS.US) trading remains dominated by call options.

1. Added more $SingTel(Z74.SG)as a bottom fishing strategy. Hope it pays off.

2. Miss adding more $SATS(S58.SG), but happy with the gain even it's a small amount.

3. Waiting for $Olam(VC2.SG)to fly higher before taking profits.
