How do I transfer shares into my account?

To transfer shares in, you'll need to submit a share transfer-in request and have your delivering broker confirm the share transfer-out. Follow the detailed steps below to submit your request and initiate the transfer-out with your broker.

1. Submit a share transfer (receive) application

1.1 In the Longbridge app, tap on "Portfolio" > "More" > "Share Transfer-In". 

1.2 Tap on the "Share Transfer-In" button and follow the steps to fill in the delivering broker information, stock code and quantity to be delivered. 

1.3 Review and confirm. After confirmation, you will receive the instructions sent to your registered email. 

1.4 Proceed to contact your delivering broker to initiate a Share Transfer-out request. 

1.5 Once you have contacted them, you can tap on the "Contact Already" button. 

Note: When providing the details of the stock you are transferring, the 'Cost Price' field is optional. 

• If it's not filled in, the cost price per share will be calculated based on the closing price on the day when the transfer is completed
• If it's filled in, the P/L will be calculated based on the cost price provided after the transfer is completed. 
• It cannot be changed after filling in. If you have any questions, please contact customer service. 

2. Initiating the Share Transfer-out request to delivering broker

Using BOCI transfer-out as an example:

2.1 After confirming the information, the corresponding transfer stock request instruction will be sent to your registered e-mail. 

2.2 Follow the transfer instructions: Download the attachment, print, and sign the document. 

2.3 Please send the email to the delivering broker (BOCI) to submit a Share Transfer-Out request.

2.4 Wait patiently for the email confirmation from BOCI.

Once your request is confirmed by both parties, under normal circumstances, the transfer can be completed within 3-5 business days.
