A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY.

Here's a full recap:

1. The Nasdaq $QQQ was down 2.60% on today, its worst session since June 5, while the Nasdaq 100 fell 2.90%, erasing nearly $1.2T in market value. The selloff was fueled by concerns over AI spending and profitability, with Meta $Meta Platforms(META.US) dropping 7% despite beating revenue expectations, as investors questioned its massive AI investments and negative free cash flow. Semiconductors were hit hardest, with the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index falling 6.7%, led by AMD $AMD(AMD.US) (-8%), Micron $Micron Tech(MU.US) (-6%), and NVIDIA $NVIDIA(NVDA.US) (-4%). AI and chip stocks accounted for roughly 90% of the Nasdaq 100's losses. However, broader market participation remained positive, with the Dow and Russell 2000 gaining. Meanwhile, Brent crude surged 4% toward $113 amid Middle East tensions. Despite the decline, the Nasdaq remains up 11.9% YTD, sitting 5.8% below its October 6 record high.

2. NVIDIA $NVIDIA(NVDA.US) CEO Jensen Huang pushed back against concerns surrounding neocloud financing, arguing that demand for AI computing infrastructure remains “off the charts” and that strong customer demand will ultimately help companies secure the capital needed to expand. Huang emphasized that “you can't solve the absence of demand,” but when demand is high, financing challenges can be addressed. He noted that neocloud providers already have excellent customers and significant demand, with their primary challenge being access to working capital to fund additional compute capacity. Huang expressed confidence that financing solutions will emerge, reinforcing his view that the industry's biggest challenge is not finding customers, but securing the capital and infrastructure needed to meet accelerating AI demand.

3. Bloom Energy $Bloom Energy(BE.US) delivered a massive Q3 2026 earnings beat, with revenue surging 138% YoY to $1.24B, well above the $1.05B estimate, while adjusted EPS of $0.94 exceeded expectations of $0.68. Adjusted operating income reached $285.7M, beating the $214M estimate, while adjusted gross margins expanded 412 basis points to 34.5%, reflecting significant improvements in profitability. The company also raised its FY2026 revenue guidance to $4.4B–$4.6B, above the $4.1B consensus, and increased its adjusted EPS outlook to $3.10–$3.40, compared with $2.73 expected. Despite the strong results, operating cash flow was negative $27.1M during the quarter.

4. OpenAI is reportedly nearing a $30B funding round at a $1.25T valuation, with UAE investors and Coatue Management leading the financing, according to CNBC. The round is being positioned as a bridge ahead of a potential 2027 IPO, with OpenAI targeting investor signatures by the end of next week, although the final fundraising amount remains subject to change. Separately, OpenAI is negotiating an additional agreement to secure AI computing capacity from the UAE, highlighting the company's continued need for massive infrastructure investment as it scales its frontier AI models and expands its commercial operations. If completed at the proposed valuation, the financing would further cement OpenAI's position among the world's most valuable private technology companies.

5. SK Hynix has reportedly scrapped plans for a U.S. IPO of its Solidigm subsidiary and halted a related pre-IPO investment round following regulatory concerns and shareholder opposition, according to Bloomberg. South Korean regulators argued that separately listing the company's flash-memory business could constitute a “duplicate listing,” potentially diluting the economic interests of existing SK Hynix shareholders. The proposed IPO, which had Goldman Sachs $Goldman Sachs(GS.US) and Morgan Stanley $Morgan Stanley(MS.US) lined up as lead underwriters, was previously targeted for 2027. The decision represents a significant development in South Korea's efforts to strengthen minority shareholder protections and address the longstanding “Korea discount,” as regulators increasingly scrutinize corporate structures that could disadvantage existing public shareholders.

6. The top 10 most active options today by contracts traded were $NVIDIA(NVDA.US) with 3.5M contracts, $AT & T(T.US)esla(TSLA.US) with 2.6M contracts, $SpaceX(SPCX.US) with 1.7M contracts, $Apple(AAPL.US) with 1.4M contracts, $Micron Tech(MU.US) with 1.2M contracts, $Meta Platforms(META.US) with 1.2M contracts, $Intel(INTC.US) with 1.2M contracts, $Amazon(AMZN.US) with 1.0M contracts, $Netflix(NFLX.US) with 967K contracts, and $Coreweave(CRWV.US) with 941K contracts.

7. SpaceX $SpaceX(SPCX.US) is reportedly seeking access to at least 80,000 cell tower sites across the United States as it accelerates plans to turn Starlink into a fourth nationwide wireless carrier, according to Bloomberg. The company is in discussions with major tower operators, including Crown Castle $Crown Castle(CCI.US), over potential agreements that could be worth billions of dollars. The push follows SpaceX's recent acquisition agreement for nationwide low-band spectrum and FCC approval for a constellation of 15,000 direct-to-device satellites, giving Starlink the foundation to combine satellite connectivity with terrestrial cellular infrastructure. If successful, the expansion would position SpaceX to compete more directly with AT&T $AT & T(T.US), Verizon $Verizon(VZ.US), and T-Mobile $AT & T(T.US)MUS, potentially reshaping the U.S. wireless market.

8. China is continuing to accumulate significant amounts of gold, with Goldman Sachs estimating that Chinese purchases through the London OTC market reached 25 tonnes in August, approximately 25% above the 20 tonnes officially reported by China's central bank. The bank estimates China purchased 35 tonnes in July, 40 tonnes in June, and 48 tonnes in May, with estimated OTC purchases exceeding officially reported central bank purchases by 83 tonnes, or 128%, over the four-month period. Meanwhile, global central banks are estimated to have purchased 79 tonnes of gold in August, roughly 365% above the pre-2022 monthly average of 17 tonnes. The figures highlight exceptionally strong demand for gold amid ongoing geopolitical uncertainty, reserve diversification, and efforts by central banks to reduce reliance on traditional reserve assets, although estimated OTC purchases are not necessarily all central bank acquisitions.

9. NVIDIA $NVIDIA(NVDA.US) CEO Jensen Huang told CNBC that he believes a surplus of memory supply is unlikely by 2029, signaling continued confidence in long-term demand for DRAM, HBM, and other advanced memory technologies as AI infrastructure expands. Huang emphasized that “one of the things that’s really great about memory is that you can always use more of it,” highlighting how increasingly sophisticated AI models, larger context windows, and more demanding inference workloads continue to drive memory requirements higher.

10. SpaceX $SpaceX(SPCX.US) is reportedly finalizing a $40B debt financing package at significantly higher borrowing costs than its previous financing, according to Semafor. The deal, led by Apollo and Goldman Sachs, is expected to include a lower-rated tranche carrying an interest rate of approximately 8.3%, while a more secure portion backed by AI chips could price around 7.75%. Even the chip-backed debt is expected to carry a yield more than 100 basis points above SpaceX's existing bonds, highlighting the rising cost of financing large-scale AI infrastructure. The transaction is expected to close next week and underscores the growing financial burden associated with SpaceX's aggressive expansion into AI computing and data centers.

11. Nebius $Nebius(NBIS.US) secured a $3.5B senior secured credit facility from Citi to finance its accelerating global AI data center expansion and GPU purchases. The facility carries a 364-day maturity, with borrowing costs starting at SOFR + 2.75% and potentially increasing to SOFR + 3.50%, giving Nebius additional access to capital as it scales its infrastructure. The company also highlighted more than $40B in long-term contracts with investment-grade customers, which could support further asset-backed financing as it expands AI computing capacity throughout 2027 and beyond. The agreement underscores how neocloud providers are increasingly leveraging contracted AI demand to secure billions in financing for next-generation data centers and GPU infrastructure.

12. The U.S. 10-year Treasury yield fell below 5.00% for the first time since September 23, as the selloff in technology and AI-related stocks intensified. The decline in yields suggests investors are rotating capital toward the relative safety of U.S. government bonds, pushing Treasury prices higher as risk appetite weakens. The move highlights a growing divergence between the bond and equity markets, with falling yields reflecting demand for defensive assets even as concerns over AI valuations, capital spending, and broader market volatility continue to pressure technology stocks.

SpaceX has surprised me as earnings turned positive. Earnings of 4B on revenue of 14B compared with Tesla revenue of 28B but only 0.8B earnings is so obvious which is a better money making company. But 1 quarter of earnings is still premature to conclude , will have to see next few quarters of earnings to make better judgement.

$SpaceX(SPCX.US)SPCX delivered the kind of high-growth earnings report I was expecting, triggering a sharp rebound from the previous selloff. The fundamentals came through as anticipated, and the market seems ready to reward that growth story again.

My only regret is that I didn’t add enough during the pullback. I was right about the recovery potential, but a little too conservative with my entries.

Next time, if the stock pulls back and confirms support, I’ll look to add more aggressively rather than miss out on another rebound. The key is distinguishing a healthy correction from a genuine deterioration in the underlying story.

SPCX beats, NFLX misses, Musk merger buzz

U.S. futures are higher, with Nasdaq leading, as AI infrastructure confirmation from overnight results offsets mixed prints elsewhere. Dow closed +1.02% yesterday on healthcare/value rotation while Nasdaq was flat; small caps led. Oil remains elevated near multi-month highs on Middle East shipping risks. Heavy earnings day ahead—$Meta Platforms(META.US) and $AT & T(T.US)esla(TSLA.US) after the close are the key events for AI spend and risk appetite. Premarket: $Super Micro Computer(SMCI.US) and $SpaceX(SPCX.US) leading gains on volume.

★ MOST ACTIONABLE · ▲ POSITIVE · $SpaceX(SPCX.US) $AT & T(T.US)esla(TSLA.US)

SPCX reported Q3 revenue of $14.6B (+161% Y/Y), well ahead of ~$12.7B consensus, with net income of $4.4B (vs prior-year loss) and adjusted EBITDA of $8.8B (+306%). Super Intelligence segment drove the beat at $7.6B (+830% Y/Y) on cloud services agreements, Cursor acquisition, and Grok adoption; Connectivity (Starlink) rose 69% to $5.2B with 13.6M subscribers. Capex was roughly in line; nameplate compute reached 1.7 GW. Shares +8–10% premarket.

On the call, Elon Musk said special committees at both SPCX and TSLA have been formed to evaluate a potential merger (he is not on either), calling the idea a good one with synergies in AI software, chips, robotics, and connectivity, while noting no agreement or guarantee and that it is not a certainty. TSLA +1–2% premarket ahead of its own print. Other space names (Rocket Lab, Intuitive Machines, ASTS) firmed. This is the clearest near-term reinforcement of the AI infrastructure demand narrative heading into mega-cap earnings; the merger chatter is speculative but keeps the FinTwit “Musk complex / superintelligence” theme active. Full results call Nov. 3 for some peers; watch TSLA guidance and any color on compute/power constraints.

★ MOST ACTIONABLE · ▲ POSITIVE · $Super Micro Computer(SMCI.US)

SMCI pre-announced preliminary Q1 FY27 (ended Sep 30) revenue of $18.5–19.5B vs prior guide $14.5–15.5B and Street ~$15B, primarily on AI platform demand. Gross margin raised to 12.0–12.5% from 10.4–10.8%. Shares +11–13% premarket; $Dell Tech(DELL.US) and $Hewlett Packard Enterprise(HPE.US) also higher. Full results Nov. 3. This is a loud counter-signal after recent AI-debt/credit concerns—demand held through quarter-end. Street models still appear light relative to the new run-rate; margins improved on mix. DOJ overhang remains but is not the immediate driver. Positive read-through for AI server/infrastructure complex into the rest of earnings season.

▼ NEGATIVE · $Netflix(NFLX.US)

Q3 revenue $12.87B (in line, +12% Y/Y—slowest in ~3 years), EPS $0.87 beat. Operating margin 34.6%. But Q4 revenue guide ~$13.44B missed Street ~$13.5B; Q4 EPS $0.67 vs ~$0.73. Full-year ad revenue forecast cut to ~$2.7B from ~$3B on slower product rollout. FY26 revenue narrowed to $51.1B (low end of prior range, slightly below consensus). Shares –6%+ premarket, near multi-year lows. Co-CEO Sarandos acknowledged need to “do better” on content after recent layoffs and exec changes. Engagement/churn and growth durability remain the open questions; ad miss and soft guide overpowered the beat. Software/consumer growth names sensitive to deceleration signals may see spillover.

Today’s Earnings Card

Options pricing elevated moves. After close: $Meta Platforms(META.US) (~±10–11%), $AT & T(T.US)esla(TSLA.US) (~±6–7%), $IBM(IBM.US) (~±7%), $Lam Research(LRCX.US) (~±7–8%), $AT & T(T.US)exas Instruments(TXN.US) (~±7–8%). Before open: $AT & T(T.US), $Abbott Laboratories(ABT.US), $AT & T(T.US)MO, $Danaher(DHR.US), $Nextera Energy(NEE.US), $Phillip Morris(PM.US), $Moodys(MCO.US) and others. $Meta Platforms(META.US) AI capex/guidance and $AT & T(T.US)esla(TSLA.US) margins/guidance are the highest-impact for the AI and growth complex. $Lam Research(LRCX.US) and $AT & T(T.US)exas Instruments(TXN.US) provide semiconductor demand color (positive setup from recent peer strength). Busy week continues; implied moves have historically been exceeded in both directions on some of these names.

Initiations include $Applied Digital(APLD.US) Buy at Roth, $Robinhood(HOOD.US) Buy at Rosenblatt.

Macro / Energy

Brent near $109–110 and WTI near $98–100 after touching five-month highs. Ongoing Hormuz/Gulf of Oman tanker attacks (Iran claims a mine incident), Houthi strikes on Saudi sites, and limited diplomatic progress keep the risk premium elevated. No major U.S. data today (EIA inventories and a Treasury auction later). Fed in blackout ahead of Oct 27–28 meeting. Elevated oil is a headwind for risk appetite if it reaccelerates; healthcare/defensive rotation from yesterday remains a background theme.

Other Notes

$Intuitive Surgical(ISRG.US) down ~8% despite a beat, on a litigation charge and narrower procedure growth outlook. $Braze(BRZE.US) is a completed M&A event rather than an ongoing catalyst. Speculative small-cap premarket volume (e.g., $Robin Energy - WI(RBNE.US)) is noise unless a clear catalyst emerges. FinTwit focus is on the AI confirmation from $SpaceX(SPCX.US)/ $Super Micro Computer(SMCI.US) versus the soft $Netflix(NFLX.US) guide and oil risk; constructive $Meta Platforms(META.US)/ $AT & T(T.US)esla(TSLA.US) prints would likely extend the AI bid, while misses would reinforce rotation.

A TON OF THINGS HAPPENED IN THE STOCK MARKET TODAY.

Here's a full recap:

1. SpaceX $SpaceX(SPCX.US) reported a massive Q3 2026, with revenue surging 161% YoY to $14.6B, while EPS reached $0.35 and net income totaled $4.4B. Adjusted EBITDA jumped 306% YoY to $8.8B, with operating cash flow of $13.1B and capital expenditures of $19.6B, highlighting the scale of the company's infrastructure investments. By segment, Space revenue grew 6% to $1.8B, Connectivity revenue increased 69% to $5.2B, and Space Intelligence (SI) revenue skyrocketed 830% to $7.6B, becoming the company's largest revenue contributor. Elon Musk also outlined aggressive expansion plans for AI compute, saying SpaceX could potentially have 20 GW of SI capacity online by the end of 2027, although he acknowledged that outcome is unlikely. Musk added that he would be surprised if SpaceX deployed less than 13 GW of compute capacity by the end of next year, underscoring the company's ambitions in large-scale AI infrastructure.

2. Anthropic’s draft IPO prospectus reportedly reveals explosive growth alongside unprecedented AI infrastructure commitments, with H1 2026 revenue surging nearly 15x YoY to $16.3B, up from $1.1B, while computing expenses climbed to nearly $9B. The company recorded an $80.7B net loss, although approximately $72B came from accounting adjustments tied to convertible notes and other financing instruments rather than direct operating expenses. Anthropic has reportedly committed roughly $450B to long-term cloud contracts, plus more than $160B for Google-designed AI chips through Broadcom $Broadcom(AVGO.US), with additional negotiations potentially pushing total computing commitments toward $750B. Major suppliers include Google $Alphabet(GOOGL.US) ($111B), Amazon $Amazon(AMZN.US) ($110B), Microsoft $Microsoft(MSFT.US) ($31B), and Nscale and Lambda (up to $86B), while the prospectus also highlights risks around customer concentration, power availability, infrastructure execution, and AI-related liability. Anthropic is reportedly preparing for a potential IPO at a valuation approaching $2T, underscoring the extraordinary scale of both the revenue opportunity and capital requirements facing frontier AI developers.

3. Supermicro $Super Micro Computer(SMCI.US) significantly raised its preliminary Q1 FY2027 revenue guidance to $18.5B–$19.5B, up from its previous outlook of $14.5B–$15.5B, representing a 27% increase at the midpoint. The company attributed the stronger outlook to accelerating demand for AI infrastructure platforms, reflecting continued investment in next-generation data center systems. Supermicro also raised its expected gross margin to 12.0%–12.5%, up from 10.4%–10.8%, citing a more favorable customer and product mix. The combination of sharply higher revenue expectations and improving margins suggests stronger operating leverage as demand for AI computing infrastructure continues to expand.

4. Citadel founder Ken Griffin warned that investors are “almost certainly” in an AI bubble, raising concerns about the enormous amounts of capital being deployed into artificial intelligence without corresponding evidence of widespread productivity gains. Griffin pointed to the scale of AI infrastructure commitments, with Anthropic reportedly considering as much as $750B in future computing expenditures, as investors increasingly question whether AI companies can generate sufficient returns to justify their spending. Despite his concerns about elevated valuations, aggressive capital expenditures, and speculative enthusiasm, Griffin remains bullish on AI’s long-term transformative potential, distinguishing between the technology’s eventual economic impact and the possibility that investors are paying too much for that growth today.

5. The top 10 most active options today by contracts traded were $NVIDIA(NVDA.US) with 2.3M contracts, $Apple(AAPL.US) with 1.0M contracts, $SpaceX(SPCX.US) with 992K contracts, $Netflix(NFLX.US) with 876K contracts, $Micron Tech(MU.US) with 850K contracts, $Tesla(TSLA.US) with 843K contracts, $Amazon(AMZN.US) with 824K contracts, $Coreweave(CRWV.US) with 785K contracts, $Intel(INTC.US) with 621K contracts, and $AMD(AMD.US) with 480K contracts.

6. Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said U.S.–Iran negotiations remain ongoing through mediators including Pakistan and Qatar, but accused Washington of complicating diplomatic progress by introducing new conditions to a previously proposed seven-day agreement. According to Araghchi, the U.S. initially accepted Iran’s terms before seeking additional clauses, while Tehran’s proposal called for the Strait of Hormuz to fully reopen on day six of the arrangement. Araghchi emphasized that Iran remains open to negotiations if Washington honors previously discussed understandings, despite what he described as deep distrust between the two countries. He declined to publicly detail the additional U.S. demands, leaving the outcome of the negotiations uncertain as both sides continue working through intermediaries.

7. U.S. pending home sales plunged 7.3% in September, falling to their lowest level on record in data going back to 2001. The decline was particularly severe in the West, where pending sales dropped 9.2%, while the South, the nation's largest home-selling region, recorded an 8.2% contraction. The sharp deterioration highlights the continued paralysis in the U.S. housing market, as elevated mortgage rates, affordability challenges, and economic uncertainty weigh on homebuyer demand.

8. Amazon $Amazon(AMZN.US) announced plans to invest more than €16B ($18B) in Germany during 2027, expanding its AI infrastructure, AWS cloud operations, logistics network, and robotics capabilities. The investment includes €4.8B for AWS, supporting expansion of its Frankfurt cloud region, alongside a second AI and robotics research lab in Berlin. Amazon also plans to expand its Leo satellite broadband network through 24 Arianespace launches, while new logistics projects are expected to create more than 3,000 jobs. The commitment brings Amazon's cumulative investment in Germany to more than €100B since 2010, reinforcing the country's importance as a European hub for AI infrastructure, cloud computing, and advanced logistics.

9. Meta $Meta Platforms(META.US) has completed the first phase of its gigawatt-scale Prometheus AI supercluster in Ohio, connecting hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA $NVIDIA(NVDA.US) GPUs across multiple buildings into a single massive AI training system, with plans to eventually scale to 1 million GPUs. The infrastructure combines NVIDIA GB200 and GB300 NVL72 platforms and was used to train Meta's latest Muse Wonder AI models. Meta said extensive engineering work with NVIDIA on hardware reliability, networking, and firmware has reduced training interruptions by 99% from their peak, enabling more than 85% productive training time during pretraining and over 90% during reinforcement learning. The company plans to expand Prometheus further using NVIDIA's next-generation Vera Rubin systems, highlighting the enormous infrastructure requirements behind the development of frontier AI models.

10. Netflix $Netflix(NFLX.US) reported Q3 2026 revenue of $12.87B, in line with expectations and up 12% YoY, while EPS of $0.87 beat the $0.82 estimate, rising 49% YoY. Operating income surged 37% to $4.46B, exceeding expectations, with operating margins expanding 640 basis points to 34.6%, reflecting strong profitability despite moderating revenue growth. However, the biggest disappointment came from guidance, with Netflix lowering its FY2026 free cash flow outlook to $12B from $12.5B and reducing its advertising revenue forecast to approximately $2.7B from $3B, while guiding Q4 revenue of $13.44B and EPS of $0.67, both below consensus. Regional growth remained positive, led by Latin America (+17%), while UCAN and EMEA each grew 11% and APAC increased 12%. Netflix also generated $2.88B in quarterly free cash flow, repurchased $4.8B in shares, and announced plans to expand its advertising tier into 15 additional countries in 2027, highlighting continued investment in monetization despite a softer near-term outlook.

11. Citadel Securities strategist Scott Rubner believes AI stocks could resume outperforming after the U.S. midterm elections, as institutional investors wait for political uncertainty to clear before increasing exposure, according to Bloomberg. Rubner said clients remain interested in the AI trade but are reluctant to deploy additional capital ahead of a major political event, with some telling him they are “happy to buy higher, but not buy now into a major political event.” The comments suggest that some investors are delaying purchases rather than abandoning their bullish outlook on AI, potentially creating renewed demand for technology stocks once the elections are over.

12. Amazon $Amazon(AMZN.US) is reportedly accelerating purchases of NVIDIA $NVIDIA(NVDA.US) AI server racks, but power shortages and data center deployment delays are leaving some expensive equipment idle before it can generate revenue. Internal AWS projections reportedly showed approximately $5B in GB300 rack deliveries in August, followed by roughly $3B per month, although these figures represent projected deliveries rather than confirmed idle inventory. Amazon has also introduced an Early Rack Receipt program that allows AWS to take ownership and pay for AI hardware before it reaches data centers, securing scarce GPU supply but accelerating cash outflows. The challenges come as Amazon expects approximately $220B in capital expenditures during 2026, with free cash flow turning negative last quarter for the first time since 2023. Amazon maintains that staging equipment near data centers is standard practice and disputes claims of broader deployment-planning problems, highlighting the growing tension between rapid AI infrastructure investment and the power capacity needed to monetize it.

🚀 Staying the Course with SpaceX

SpaceX delivered an impressive Q3 performance. Overnight trading pushed the share price to $160, up 7.14% from my entry at $149.32. It is a good reminder that progress often happens quietly beneath the headlines.😁

The company shared forward guidance pointing to growing momentum. They see strong demand for Starlink, advancing Starship development and a clear path toward profitability.

This is also backed by expanding revenue and improving margins ahead.

There will always be voices saying it will not work, questioning the losses or predicting delays.

I hear them too. But I am not here for short term investment.

I am here because I believe in the mission. Great things take time. I will hold steady, trust the vision and let the company keep building its future. 👊🏽👍

Odds of $SpaceX(SPCX.US) + $Tesla(TSLA.US) combo just inched up.

The question came up on the call. Elon says he thinks it’s a good idea, and there are a lot of merits to combining the companies, but shareholders still have to be supportive.

Believe me, shareholders would support this.

Elon says there are special committees at request of shareholders to discuss the topic. He is a conflicted party so he can't be in the conversation.

My take: 95% chance in the next two years.

AI is now $SpaceX(SPCX.US)'s biggest business, and it isn't close

SpaceX just reported Q3 revenue of $14.58B, up 161% from a year ago and well above the $12.72B Wall Street expected per LSEG

The AI segment, which SpaceX now calls Super Intelligence, brought in $7.56B. That's up about 9x from $813M a year ago and ahead of the $6.47B estimate

Starlink connectivity revenue rose 69% to $5.25B as subscribers climbed to 13.6M from 12M last quarter

Space (rockets) did $1.8B vs $1.46B expected

Net income came in at $4.4B vs a $1.05B loss a year ago, and adjusted EBITDA jumped 306% to $8.81B

The catch is the spending. Capex hit $19.59B in the quarter, and $16.44B of that went to AI

$SpaceX(SPCX.US) rose about 1.5% after hours per CNBC, on a company worth roughly $2T

A rocket company is now mostly an AI compute business. Starlink pays the bills, but AI is where both the growth and $16B a quarter of capex are going, and that's what the market will be pricing from here on

My pick this week is $SpaceX(SPCX.US)because I believe its potential catalysts extend beyond short-term earnings. Morgan Stanley’s Adam Jonas maintains an Overweight rating with a $300 price target, forecasting Q3 revenue of $13 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $6.9 billion. Although its market cap has declined nearly 15% over the past eight sessions, I see the upcoming Starship 15th flight in early November, potentially including a ship catch attempt, as a major event that could reshape market sentiment.

What makes SpaceX stand out to me is its long-term growth potential across launch services, Starlink and future space infrastructure. If Starship continues to make technical progress, it could improve launch economics and expand commercial opportunities over time. Of course, I would not ignore execution risks or treat analyst forecasts as guaranteed outcomes. I would watch the earnings numbers alongside upcoming milestones, because I believe the combination of financial performance and technological progress could be the key driver of its next move. I prefer to stay patient and let the results speak for themselves rather than chase short-term hype.

$SpaceX(SPCX.US) reports earnings tomorrow, and Wall Street expects its revenue to jump about 63% in a single quarter

Analysts see third quarter revenue of about $12.74 billion and earnings of 14 cents a share, per LSEG data cited by Reuters. Last quarter SpaceX brought in $7.8 billion and posted a $541 million net loss

That would make it SpaceX's first profitable quarter as a public company, only four months after the June IPO

AI is doing the heavy lifting. SpaceX spent $15.8 billion on AI capex in Q2 alone, and Evercore ISI expects it to exit 2026 at an annualized revenue run rate of about $104 billion, with 2027 capex near $151 billion

Starlink is still the cash engine. Connectivity revenue rose 66% to $4.3 billion last quarter

The stock closed Monday at $147.96, up 1.3%. That's above the $135 IPO price but about 30% below its peak close of $211.39 in June

It also lands right after President Trump thanked Musk on Monday for pledging one SpaceX share to every American child through Trump Accounts

$Tesla(TSLA.US) reports Wednesday, so investors get a rare side by side look at Musk's two most valuable companies while merger talk keeps building

The EPS number is the easy part. A $15.8B quarterly AI spending bill needs a lot more than Starlink to pay for it, and tomorrow is the first real read on whether those compute contracts are actually turning into revenue

SpaceX reports Q3 on Tuesday and the number that matters is whether that 18 billion of spending is turning into Starlink cash flow. The Grain airwaves deal is a direct shot at the carriers, and Starlink Mobile indoors changes the story. I hold it through the proxy and I am watching free cash flow, not launch cadence.

What Tuesday tells us about SpaceX

SpaceX Q3 is the first real earnings test for proxy holders, and the bar is simple: show that Starlink is funding the launch business rather than the other way around. The 18.4 billion spend only works if subscriber growth and the new airwaves push into mobile keep compounding. Buying Grain Management spectrum is a direct move on the carriers, and if Starlink Mobile works indoors it reprices the whole wireless map. The capex is enormous and a private mark is not a public multiple, so risks are real. But if Tuesday shows cash generation inflecting, the space premium starts to look earned rather than hoped for. I am watching margins and the Starlink mix, not the rocket count.

AT&T -9.8% and T-Mobile -13% after SpaceX $8B nationwide spectrum buy is market missing point - Starlink still needs ground game and $40B debt for Nvidia chips. US telco fear is overdone. At home, banks bouncing after last week’s STI -5% selloff is real - NIM holds at 5%+ yields, 6% div yield is floor.

The disruption to Telco by SpaceX is not a don't deal and the market is already selling down the Telcos. If the likelihood of spaceX succeeding is high or certain, this price movement is the clearest indication of how market expectations. If not, it's just a matter of selling on rumour to wash out the unsteady hands.

$American Tower(AMT.US)

American Tower is bouncing on hopes that SpaceX’s telecom ambitions could boost demand for wireless infrastructure. The irony? Even as satellite connectivity threatens traditional telcos, it could create new opportunities for tower owners. Is this the start of a recovery, or just a short-lived rally?
