Now that the peace deal has firmed up, everyone seems to be in a buoyant risk on mode again. I am net long but cautiously so.

$NVIDIA(NVDA.US)I use Nvidia as a barometer for the AI sector in general along with others such as AMD, TSM as well as Broadcom. When she sneezes, usually the others follow. At the moment, Nvidia has technically completed what looks like the fifth of a bigger third wave that started in late 2022. I am expecting a fourth wave which might have already started which might take price to at least 188. The low 100s is also a possibility of a deeper pullback which will present as a more attractive value proposition. Hence my decision to keep this as just a placeholder.@Bridge Buzz SG

At last we have a peace deal with an actual date on the table. It has been on and off for so long it has to get done at some point of time!

Why does everyone think that Google ordering some chips from Intel is a boost for them at Nvidia’s expense? In all honesty, who really thinks that Intel can actually compete with Nvidia and did they forget that Nvidia actually has some form of partnership with Intel? I think that’s what gave Google confidence to buy those Intel chips.

$Tesla(TSLA.US)Technically, Tesla is in a huge multi year ABC structure from the year it was listed in 2010. My count which is open to interpretation of course has the A wave top in 2017 and the B wave bottom in 2019 when it touched 12 dollars thereabouts (Can you imagine that?!)It has never looked back and has rallied to its 400 levels now in its C wave. So where is she now in terms of her price action?I would say she is in the middle of a diagonal within a bigger diagonal of the final fifth wave of the huge C wave. The thing that makes it tricky is we have an ATH in December 25 which cleared the previous high in December 24 by a whisker so that means all waves are theoretically complete. However there is still a theoretical count taking price to the 600 levels if supports hold. I don’t see the risk rewards worthwhile enough to hold a large position and amidst the markets’ valuations and macro uncertainty. So safety first it is.@Bridge Buzz SG

The markets are so stretched, in honesty they don’t require much to correct. The narratives provide the ‘backdrop story’ as usual. Staying safe and cautiously conservatively net long.

Amazing how the market takes for a ride the uninitiated. Hence the low volume. Smart market participants are not buying. They are distributing to FOMO crowd. Stop letting narratives decide your trades. Stay safe!

Does it really need a hot CPI number and an on off high school standoff to ignite a sell off? The market can just keep going higher if it wants to and the narrative will shift accordingly. Hilarious actually. Now let’s see what the narratives say when the market rebounds. 🤔😂

When a counter goes up just because somebody mentions it, that tells you the state of the market. And the market can stay irrational with FOMO longer than it makes sense.

Same old story. US and Iran are behaving like kids at a playground. Friends one day and fighting another day. And the markets like parents. The faster the markets ignore them, the better they will behave. And like smart kids, they are making use of their parents! In this analogy, people in the circle are making loads of money from the market gyrations!

I have already mentioned the risks in the markets earlier and warned that valuations are very high and too stretched despite the massive tailwinds in AI. This selloff looks like the C of a possible bigger A wave so a strong rebound is expected pretty soon.

$SPDR Gold Shares(GLD.US)This market has the hallmarks of a bubble top. I wanted to avoid using that description and was holding back but I will say it. Parabolic moves with narrow leadership in AI names, lofty forward projections and mega blockbuster IPOs requiring liquidity equivalent of country’s GDP of futuristic tech which are not even profitable etc. Its like the dot com era again! Even the technicals look similar!Add to that a stagflation possibility in a market drained of liquidity.Wow…..Am I the only one seeing this?Boring as it may be, I am going defensive. $AMD(AMD.US)Have a look at AMD’s technical picture and price action. Clear five waves up as a fifth wave of another bigger five waves. Exhaustion gap on this mini five waves up. Island cluster of price holding above that gap on declining volume and momentum. As I mentioned many times, technical analysis is not a prediction. It is a quantified illustration of collective human sentiment towards a particular object which is ownership of AMD here.And my read of the sentiment is irrational exuberance. And this sentiment can go on for some time pulling in even more bulls. Be careful. Price is so high, more exit liquidity is required so smart money can keep this going longer. I think this is the seventh or eighth time I hear a peace deal has been achieved and the 20th time that is close to being signed! Can I say we are ahead of schedule and that’s why the markets are happy about it? 😂
