Gold dropped over 2% yesterday, pulling back from a two-week high. The Middle East conflict pushed energy prices up, stoking inflation fears and making markets expect more U.S. rate hikes this year.
I am taking the chance to add more for my long-term portfolio plus diversification. How about you 🤔?
The cryptocurrency sector surged after US Treasury Secretary Bessent stated that the 'CLARITY Act' has entered the 'final stage' in the Senate.
Bitcoin rose +2% to approximately $66,400.
Cryptocurrencies began showing positive sentiment only after a long period of stagnation, waiting for this market to turn around.
Memory stocks went vertical (MU +12%, SNDK +14%) on UBS's buy call, while Nvidia declared Vera Rubin in full production. Next up: Tesla and Alphabet report tonight, the first real test of whether AI capex is turning into cash.

I have covered Robinhood for the past 3 years, and it is fair to say that something really different has happened in the past 2 weeks since their Crypto event in the UK. Why? Well...Just over one week after launch of the Robinhood Chain:- 17M+ transactions- Nearly 350K total addresses- Nearly $250M in protocol TVL- More than $1B in DEX trading volumeAnd three days ago, Robinhood Chain flipped Hyperliquid in 24-hour DEX volume, according to DefiLlama:Robinhood Chain: $433.19MHyperliquid: $296.23MThe implications for $Robinhood(HOOD.US) are significant and really cannot be ignored by the market. Robinhood is evolving from a brokerage that earns from customer trading activity into a vertically integrated financial ecosystem with its own blockchain, exchange infrastructure, tokenized assets and on-chain liquidity. This along with the Trump accounts is why I think the stock has finally decoupled from $Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust ETF(BTC.US) and is now trading at 80% above its lows in May. Bitcoin could go up or down, the market has moved on with pegging HOOD's stock to random BTC fluctuations, because HOOD is so, so much more important than what happens with any individual coin. If Robinhood Chain continues gaining adoption, Robinhood could capture economics from:- Blockchain transaction fees- DEX trading and liquidity activity- Tokenized stocks and real-world assets (something Vlad really wants to push heavily as he sees the entire world is moving on chain)- Stablecoin payments and settlement- Third-party applications built on its network- Increased customer deposits and engagementThe bigger opportunity is that Robinhood may no longer need to simply route transactions through financial infrastructure owned by other companies.It could increasingly own the infrastructure itself...which has always been the bull case for them in crypto. It's not just about making fees off people trading coins, but owning the entire stack when it comes to the broader crypto ecosystem. That gives Robinhood more control over the customer experience, potentially stronger margins and several new recurring revenue streams.It is still early, and some of the initial volume may be driven by launch incentives, but Robinhood Chain is already showing that the company could become far more than a retail brokerage. The main assets being traded on it right now are meme coins, which some people may think are a joke, but to me this is showing the willingness of so many native crypto investors to accept Robinhood Chain as a legitimate platform to be able to trade on and eventually, millions of other assets with real world utility will come on chain. $Robinhood(HOOD.US) is building toward becoming a global, crypto-native financial platform and that level of innovation and speed is what has helped the stock recover this year but is also getting the street excited for the future, diversified streams of revenue which will continue to compound earnings over the coming years. The bigger picture shows ongoing consolidation. Bitcoin is battling to close above its daily middle band at $63,620. A confirmed break here would clear the way to the upper band at $65,336. The daily RSI has rebounded to a neutral 46.64, signalling the heavy mid-year sell-off has fully faded.

The elusive arbitrage of value which has arguably withstood the test of time since eons ago -Gold. From the times of the ancient babylonians to the sands of Egypt and revered by majestic empires as the tools of trade, it remains relevant up to today.
Its value still holds especially now when distrust of the fiat economy grows. Bitcoin was invented to circumvent this but despite all the fanfare, it has still yet to prove itself.
Gold is still the de facto safe asset and one central banks accumulate to safeguard the country’s assets.
Technically, I believe Gold is closer to the end of its pullback than ever. I wonder what is the narrative when gold launches into the next rally.

🟢 The 4-hour chart showcases a sharp bullish reversal. Bitcoin has successfully broken above its middle Bollinger Band at $62,134, pushing toward the upper band at $63,698.
The 4H RSI has heated up to a bullish 65.48, proving strong short-term buyer conviction.
🟢Daily chart: The long-term outlook remains cautious but improving. BTC is currently pinned exactly at its daily middle band resistance of $62,936. Reclaiming this level is critical.
Encouragingly, the daily RSI has bounced from deeply oversold levels up to 37.82, indicating that the intense selling pressure from June is fading.

🟢Dovish Fed & Soft NFP:

Price of Crypto have been in the downward spiral. No thanks to rumors that US Federal Reserve will be hiking interest rate due to high inflation in the US. Keeping them do not earn any interest so in the environment that is anticipating a rate hike, people rush to sell unproductive asset and move it to fixed deposit and enjoy interest regardless of the market condition. Bitcoin is now around US$60k, it hit highest at US$126K on Oct 2025. Bitcoin dropped was also attributed to investors recycling their funds from crypto to AI stocks. AI stocks are all the focus now but they are also not immune from risks of over investment. But both of them are here to stay even as they face sell off or even crashes.
