I believe the enterprise AI hardware trade is gaining momentum, still early but not at the stage where early lurker make their multi-bagging. 

The narrow breath ATH is held up by the mega cap tech which still has solid results to show. this is different from the dot com era where companies are just listed based on a dot com label and a dream only, i.e. with no results to show. Any pull back could still add to mega tech with solid fundamentals but not the broad index. Maybe likewise for secondary beneficiaries related to these tech too.

The Singapore market seems to be weak lately probably due to funds rotating back to risk-off FOMO into the AI rally. Iran noises seems to be dialled back lately to focus on the Trump-Xi buddy buddy session.

market pricing in rate hike means S-REITs will be punished. For income investors who value cash flow and security when they are heading into their golden years, such times offer opportunities to accumulate our dividend machines while also hedged with existing position of local banks.

the  dip in chip stock would not surprise anyone. The parabolic rise would warrant profit taking with any convenient narrative to sell down. Pumping up to trap retail while they quietly rotated to sectors already beaten down and then release another narrative to pump up this compressed sector.

The Chinese tech basket is generally undervalued as compared with their US counterparts. For those who can stomach the constant sell down of Chinese tech, there is a chance of enjoying the fruit when they gets the hot money when market is risk-on.

it depends on how long oil price stays above 150. if it's just a short spike, then it's just a nasty road bump and passengers on the vehicle will go back to their slumber again, having been fatigued and numb to the undulating road

I think different reactions to capex hikes are caused by purposeful narratives that are meant to drive market sentiments, without which liquidity cannot be accelerated. Is the FOMC meeting actually neutral/balanced or hawkish? Do remember Headlines are meant to solicit attention and a neutral one doesn't cause any hype.
