Markets did not have a full green pump to maximum as after the pump there was a slow drop to closing hours. So I will remain bearish for now. If you like the fundamentals of the stocks or the sectors (etf) then slowly DCA to have a good sleep at night while remaining invested in the growth of the industry.

I am still in the long game and DCA for reits etfs and STI etf - not a huge worry during pullbacks for etf as they compound over time. If not buy during the dips then when else to buy? DYODD

$VG S&P 500(VOO.US)

$VOO

Context: The S&P 500 hovered near $707 today after briefly testing support down toward $702 in early trading. Markets continue digesting third-quarter bank earnings and shifting treasury yield levels, leading to controlled intraday consolidation across major index components.

My trade: Maintained position / DCA on track — I am holding my core index exposure steady without reacting to temporary market swings, keeping automated accumulation schedules active while monitoring key support levels near $700 for strategic limit buy entries.

Takeaway: Staying patient through routine daily dips ensures dollar-cost averaging builds long-term wealth without emotional noise.

$Invesco QQQ Trust(QQQ.US)

QQQ closed Friday at 751.27, and I’m staying cautiously bullish heading into the week. The trend remains healthy, but I’d rather keep some cash available than chase at current levels.

Wednesday’s Core CPI will be the main catalyst. I’m watching 771 for a potential breakout and 727 as key support. A pullback could offer a better entry opportunity.

VIX remains low around 14.84, while Longbridge’s US Market Temperature sits at 47, suggesting sentiment is still somewhat cautious despite the calm market.

For now, I’m staying selective and letting price action guide my next move. I still see upside potential, but patience and keeping buying power available remain my priorities.

$Pfizer(PFE.US)

Context: Seeing Moderna leverage OpenAI and generative AI to accelerate its mRNA clinical pipeline made me re-evaluate legacy pharma. Pfizer has been heavily integrating AI through platforms like “Charlie” and partnerships with CytoReason to compress drug discovery timelines and cut R&D overhead. With Pfizer’s oncology push and compressed valuation post-COVID, AI efficiency could significantly improve long-term trial success rates and margins.

My trade: Opened a position. The risk-to-reward ratio looks attractive given the low valuation multiples, solid dividend yield, and underappreciated AI-driven R&D pipeline optimization compared to pure biotech peers.

Takeaway: Next time, I will scale in using smaller dollar-cost averaging tranches rather than opening a full starter position all at once to navigate sector volatility.

🌟🌟🌟As the Straits Times Index drifts lower today, do you hunt for value or flee the storm? If you are a patient long term investor, this is a great time to accumulate $STI ETF(ES3.SG). The STI isn't a speculative tech bubble. It is an index dominated by massive, cash rich banking monopolies and blue chip stocks.

The Big 3 local banks $DBS(D05.SG)$OCBC Bank(O39.SG)and $UOB(U11.SG)have fortress balance sheets. They also pay great dividends too.

Singapore remains the premier wealth sanctuary in Asia and it is backed by stable government. A good strategy is to dollar cost average STI ETF for the long term. Slow and steady wins the race.

$VG S&P 500(VOO.US)

Consolidating around $713–$714, the Vanguard S&P 500 ETF (VOO) exhibits heavy concentration, with the top 10 mega-cap leaders making up roughly 37.9% of total weighting. While mega-cap dominance powers index returns, broader participation across mid-tier constituents maintains fundamental stability. Relying on systematic DCA automates exposure to this structural market engine without single-stock vulnerability.

Both CityDev and Capital Land Invest are reasonably good companies but it is not undervalued to a large extent. So DCA slowly if you want to own the stock in long term perspective 5-10 years.
