Big Tech earnings ahead rip. At home REITs held gains is actually bearish - means banks slip continues, same pattern as banks easing back after Wednesday’s gains and early bounce fading, REIT hold is just defensive hiding before Fed hawkish.

Rumor: Nvidia, AMD and Intel have paid over a combined US$5 billion to reserve long term capacity for substrates (ABF, etc.), media report, citing industry rumors, a figure that matches capital expenditure announcements by Taiwan’s top three substrate makers, Unimicron, Kinsus and Nanya PCB, a combined record high NT$161.2 billion (US$5.04B) for new plants and production lines.

Chip Selloff during the bloodbath means nothing. Just a temporary pullback to me. The AI driven demand will still bring it up eventually. I will be watching closely to upcoming Nvidia, Tesla and Meta results.

On the other hand, curious why the SG banks have diverged. Despite OCBC having the best earnings previously, it has fallen the most. Probably Q3 forecast earning is not up to expectation.

The US market could rebound tonight. ( A good bet 😆)

Semiconductor stocks have been down for over a week now. A bounce looks likely and I don't think the rally is over yet. More to come if upcoming earnings shift investor sentiment.

Wed's CPI and Thursday's PPI 👀. I'll be looking forward to TSM after the recent pullback following a new 52 weeks high. My early prediction is that the earnings will be great enough for a slight bullish momentum.
