No, an Option Cash Coupon cannot be redeemed for cash.
Option Cash Coupons provide rebates and are used to offset the purchase amount for an option order. The rebate will be credited to your trading account within 1-2 working days after the contract settlement date.
Option Cash Coupons can only be applied to buy orders.
When placing a buy order, the system will automatically apply the most suitable Option Cash Coupon available. You can modify or remove the Option Cash Coupon in your “Order Details” when placing an order.
The order value doesn’t change, as you’ll get your money back as a rebate, equal to the value of the Option Cash Coupon. You’ll receive it within 1-2 working days after the contract settlement date.
No, each Option Cash Coupon can only be used once. Any unused portion of the coupon will be forfeited.
