1.Introduction of US Overnight Trading

Overnight trading hours run from 20:00 to 3:50 Eastern Time.

The first session of overnight trading "begins on Sunday evening at 20:00 and concludes early Monday morning at 3:50", while the last session "takes place on Thursday evening at 20:00 and ends early Friday morning at 3:50".

It's important to note that the overnight trading hours beginning at 20:00 marks the commencement of the next trading day. For example, the overnight trading hours on Monday evening, spanning from 20:00 to early Tuesday morning at 3:50, is considered part of Tuesday's trading day. Overnight trading, along with pre-market, regular trading hours, and after-hours trading, constitutes the 24-hour trading cycle of the US stock market.

2.What products can be traded in the US overnight trading session?

Overnight trading is applicable to both stocks and ETFs, with support for 258 specific codes at present. For a comprehensive list, please refer to the "Appendix - Overnight Trading Code List" at the end of this document. Alternatively, you can check whether a specific code supports overnight trading by looking for the "24H" label on the stock details page. The range of codes available for overnight trading is continuously expanding.

3.Is market data available for the US Overnight trading session?

Once overnight trading commences, you can access various types of market data, including overnight trade snapshots, intraday charts, transaction details, transaction statistics, and BBO (Best Bid & Offer).

4.Is overnight trading available during the US holidays?

Overnight trading adheres to the exchange holiday calendar and corresponds to regular trading days. There is no overnight trading during holidays. For example, if Friday is a holiday, overnight trading will not be available on Thursday evening or Friday morning.

5.Do I need an additional account for overnight trading?

No additional account is needed for after-hours trading. You can participate in overnight trading as long as you have an account for trading US stocks.

6.What are the transaction fees for overnight trading?

Transaction fees for overnight trading remain consistent with those applied during regular trading hours.

7.How can I place orders during the overnight session, and what types of orders are supported?

Only limit orders are supported for overnight trading, and the validity of these orders can only be set for the current trading day.
Currently, there are two methods to place night market orders:

* In the trading hall, select the overnight session and proceed with the order.

* In the quick trading interface, activate the overnight icon and proceed with the order.

8.Is short selling allowed during the overnight session?

Yes, short selling is supported during the overnight session.

9.Can I place an overnight order before the overnight session?

No, overnight orders can only be placed during the designated overnight session.

10.How are my position value and P/L calculated?

You can choose whether to incorporate overnight trading prices into your position and P/L calculations via the "Settings" - "Portfolio" - "Asset Calculation Method" option. When you opt for overnight trading prices, the latest prices during the overnight session will impact your position values and P/L calculations.

11.What should I pay attention to during overnight trading of U.S. stocks?

1. Overnight trading falls under over-the-counter transactions, subject to upstream restrictions on order prices.
2. During the three-day window of the overnight trading session, if there are corporate actions related to the underlying asset, the orders may be rejected by the upstream.
3. On the day of, the day before, and the day after corporate actions, the stock may be unavailable for trading during the overnight session.
4. Overnight trading is only supported for Integrated A/C.
5. Due to lower liquidity and increased price volatility during overnight trading sessions, along with potential restrictions from upstream brokers and exchanges, your orders may be partially filled or not filled at all. Please be cautious of the associated risks.
