Precautions

  1. Longbridge currently only supports HKD deposits via FPS. **When binding your bank account number, pay attention to the last digit of the number.**ICBC (Asia) integrated account manages multiple sub-accounts with one account number, and the type of the sub-account is indicated by the last digit of your account number. Please note that Longbridge currently does not support binding the integrated account (usually ending with 0) for deposits and withdrawals. Only sub-accounts are supported, as listed below:
  • 「1」: HKD current account
  • 「2」: HKD savings account
  • 「3」: multi-currency savings account
  • 「4」: time deposit account
  • 「5」: USD current account
  • 「6」: CNY current account (only applicable to services activated in Hong Kong that include CNY sub-accounts)
  • 「7」: CNY savings account (only applicable to services activated in Hong Kong that include CNY sub-accounts)
  • 「8」: HKD passbook savings account
  • 「9」: HKD current account

(The above applies to integrated accounts, "e-Age Banking" Accounts, and Elite Club Accounts.)

2. After entering the card number, please ensure that the bank account type you filled in matches the deposit currency(e.g., HKD account for HKD deposits and USD account for USD deposits). An incorrect account type may affect your subsequent withdrawals.

3. The name on the bank account used for the transfer must match the name on your Longbridge account. You cannot use another person's bank account for transfers. Any refund fees incurred due to non-compliance will be borne by you.

4. After you complete the transfer, FPS will instantly transfer the funds to the beneficiary account. However, manual approval is required before the funds are deposited into your securities account.

5. It takes time for the bank to process the transfer. Bank notifications stating "transfer initiated" do not indicate immediate receipt by the beneficiary account. Settlement and approval are required after the funds arrive. Transfers are not processed on Hong Kong public holidays. Please allow sufficient time for processing.

6. Cash deposits are currently not accepted.
