GaoTeng WeInvest Money Market Fund is a sub-fund under GaoTeng WeInvest Fund, an umbrella unit trust fund incorporated in Hong Kong and regulated under the laws of Hong Kong. This sub-fund aims to invest at least 85% of its net asset value in a series of short-term deposits and high-quality money market instruments issued by the government and leading companies, and to be recognized either by the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) in accordance with Article 8.2 of the Code on Unit Trusts and Mutual Funds or by a money market fund that can be regulated in a manner that is generally comparable and acceptable to the SFC to achieve its investment objectives. Subject to the above provisions, at least 70% of the net asset value will be invested in U.S. dollar-denominated money market instruments and deposits; money market fund investment will not exceed 10% of the net asset value. The money market instruments that this sub-fund can invest in include: government bills, certificates of deposit, commercial bills, short-term bills, and bank acceptance bills, etc. The sub-fund may also invest up to 15% of its net asset value in high-quality debt securities.

After signing the "Balance Services Authorization,", the idle funds in your Broker‘s account will be automatically transferred to the GaoTeng Monetary Market Fund corresponding to the Excess Funds Facility. The minimum investment amount is HKD 0.01 for the HKD-denominated money market fund and USD 0.01 for the USD-denominated money market fund.
When deductions occur, the money market fund's position will be automatically deducted as needed at settlement. It is expected that this will primarily cover the purchase of stocks, funds and other products and cash withdrawals.
The full amount will be transferred out upon the cancellation of the monetary fund's automatic investment agreement.
Customers can apply for redemption at any time on the Cash Plus page. If the redemption request is submitted before 9:10 am on the trading day, the redeemed funds will not be automatically transferred to Cash Plus within 3 natural days (if the redemption is submitted later than 9:10 am on the T-day, the redeemed funds will not be automatically transferred to Cash Plus within T+3 days). The redeemed funds can be immediately used for stock trading, IPO subscription, currency exchange, and withdrawal. The redemption funds will be credited on T+1 at the latest.
Automatic inbound and outbound transfers are made at a fixed time daily without the need to agree on a specific trading time
Within one business day of the funds being credited to the account, they will be automatically transferred to the money market fund and interest will accrue. Note: Cycles are calculated on the basis of a statutory business day in Hong Kong, and extended accordingly in the event of a holiday.
