Instructions for Withdrawing Funds

1. Available Currencies for Withdrawal

The currencies that can be withdrawn are: Hong Kong Dollars (HKD) and US Dollars (USD).

2.Amount Available for Withdrawal

The 'Withdraw Funds' page will display the maximum amount available for withdrawal. This maximum withdrawable amount refers only to the current currency and does not include amounts in other currencies. If other currencies have a negative balance, it will affect the maximum amount available for withdrawal in the current currency.

3. Confirm the account type of your bank card

Please pay attention to whether the withdrawal currency matches the account type of your bank card. If the withdrawal currency is HKD and the account type of your bank card is USD, the withdrawal will not be possible and the system will prompt an error notice.

That is, the currency of the funds withdrawn must match the account type of your bank card:

If you withdraw Hong Kong dollars, the account type of your bank card must be an HKD account or an integrated account;

If you withdraw US dollars, the account type of your bank card must be a USD account or an integrated account;

If the information about the account type of your bank card is incorrect, you can edit it or change a bank card that matches the account type and currency. The procedure for editing bank card information is as follows:

4. Confirm whether your bank card has been verified

If the bank card is not verified, bank card verification is required.

1) If you opened your account with CA certification and are prompted to verify your bank card, you can withdraw funds only after bank card verification. For details, please refer to Bank Card Verification Instructions.

2) If you opened your account via transfer verification and your bank card has not finished deposit verification, please complete the deposit verification before withdrawing funds, or you can change a bank card.

5. You can view the historical fund withdrawal records after the funds are withdrawn.

Withdrawal Includes Cash Plus Balance

1. If you have activated the Cash Plus service, your withdrawal amount will be divided into cash withdrawable and maximum withdrawable.

  • Cash withdrawable: the cash withdrawable amount in the current currency;
  • Maximum withdrawable: the maximum withdrawable amount including Cash Plus balance in the current currency;

2. If your withdrawal amount involves the Cash Plus balance, the system will automatically redeem funds from Cash Plus and submit a withdrawal request. It takes two business days for redeeming funds from Cash Plus and the funds can be withdrawn only after the redemption is successful. Therefore, the arrival time of the withdrawal is expected to be 2 business days longer than usual;

3. You can also manually redeem funds from Cash Plus and then withdraw funds separately after the redemption is successful.

Withdrawal Frequently Asked Questions

1.Why is it that a portion of my account's funds cannot be withdrawn?

Please refer to the maximum withdrawable amount on the 'Assets' - 'Withdraw' page. The following reasons may affect your available withdrawal balance:

  • Trading market rules: HK Trades are settled after T+2 trading days, US Trades are settled after T+1 trading days, and you must wait for the trade settlement to be completed before you can exchange currency or make withdrawals.
  • If your account has any outstanding balances in certain currencies, it may affect the withdrawable amount of your other currencies.
  • If you have activated the Balance Plus feature, funds deposited into your account will automatically be transferred to Balance Plus after 9 AM on the trading day, and are expected to arrive around 5:00 PM on the same day. During this period, these funds cannot be withdrawn.

2.What are the reasons for a failed withdrawal?

You can check the detailed reasons for the rejection by clicking on the withdrawal record in the 'Withdraw' - 'Withdrawal History' section at the top right corner.

If the issue is due to incorrect bank card information, you can correct the details in the 'Assets' - 'Bank Card' section. After the modification, return to 'Assets' - 'Withdraw Funds' to resubmit your withdrawal application.

3.When will the withdrawal be credited to my account?

  • If you have already submitted a withdrawal application, you can view the detailed progress by clicking on the withdrawal record in the 'Withdraw Funds' - 'Withdrawal History' section at the top right corner.
  • The withdrawal method and arrival time vary depending on the bank card used. For more details, please refer to the withdrawal method and arrival time explanations provided earlier. Generally, withdrawals to Hong Kong accounts: funds are typically credited to your account within 1-2 business days after being submitted to the bank; withdrawals to overseas banks: funds are typically credited within 3-7 business days after being submitted to the bank.
  • If your withdrawal amount includes Balance Plus funds, the system will automatically redeem the corresponding amount of Balance Plus currency funds for you (which usually takes 2 trading days to arrive). After the redemption is credited, the funds will be withdrawn automatically according to the normal timeline.

4.How much is the withdrawal fee?

Longbridge does not charge fees, but banks may charge fees, which will be based on the actual amount credited to your account.

The withdrawal fee varies depending on the bank card used and the bank's policies. For more information, please see the withdrawal method and arrival time explanations provided earlier. It is recommended to choose Hong Kong bank card withdrawals in HKD, as we will prioritize matching with FPS for withdrawals.

Notice

  1. The name of your bank account used for withdrawing funds must be the same as the name of your Longbridge account. It is not allowed to use another person’s bank account for transfer, otherwise, the refund fee will be borne by yourself.
  2. Banks do not process funds during holidays or outside trading hours, which may affect the arrival time of funds withdrawn. The estimated time is for your reference and it is subject to the actual arrival time. Long Bridge has the right to interpret.
  3. Withdrawal requests will only be processed if you have sufficient funds available. If the withdrawal request is rejected, it can be made again when your account has sufficient available funds.
