At present, Changqiao provides several avenues for users to add or modify bank account information, including during the processes of depositing funds, managing bank accounts, and withdrawing funds.
1.Entry Points for Adding Bank Accounts
(1)By tapping on 'Assets' - 'Bank Accounts', users are given the option to add or edit their bank account details.
(2)Click on 'Assets' - 'Deposit', after selecting the currency type for deposit, on the bank account selection page, click 'My Bank Accounts' at the bottom to immediately add or edit bank account information.
(3)When withdrawing funds, by selecting 'Withdraw To' and then choosing 'More' on the right, a list of additional bank accounts will pop up. Click on 'Manage My Bank Accounts' at the bottom, and you will be redirected to the bank account functionality page where you can add or edit bank accounts.
2.Fill in Bank Account Information
Bank account region: You need to select the account region where your bank card belongs, such as Hong Kong, the United States, Singapore, etc. Currently, it only supports cross-border bank transfers from FATF member countries/regions, and does not support bank card deposits in mainland China.
The bank to which the card belongs: that is, the name of the bank corresponding to your bank card.
If it is a Hong Kong bank card, you need to confirm the bank code and bank name. For example, Bank of China has multiple bank codes: 012, 014, 338, 070, etc. You need to confirm with the bank, or check the branch number before the account number on your bank account opening form. If you choose the wrong branch, your account deposits and withdrawals will be affected.
Bank account name: You can directly drop down to select. You need to confirm that the name sorting is best consistent with the sorting on the bank. For example, Zhang San, the corresponding one on the bank is Z HANG SAN or SAN ZHANG. If you choose the wrong name, the deposit will fail;
Bank account number: that is, your bank card account information. Since some banks will have comprehensive account card numbers, and the card numbers corresponding to different currencies are different, you need to confirm the bank account information in advance before depositing money.
Account Type refers to the type of account associated with the bank account number you have entered at the bank, such as a US dollar account, Hong Kong dollar account, or a comprehensive account.
If the account type is a Hong Kong dollar account, then this bank card can only support Hong Kong dollar transactions for deposits and withdrawals on the Changqiao app.
If the account type is a US dollar account, then this bank card can only support US dollar transactions for deposits and withdrawals on the Changqiao app.
If the account type is a comprehensive account, then this bank card can support both US dollar and Hong Kong dollar transactions for deposits and withdrawals on the Changqiao app.
FPS Account is the FPS account number associated with the bank card.
Optional, but if you provide it, it will facilitate a quicker verification and confirmation of your bank card information when submitting deposit and withdrawal applications.
Bank Card Proof refers to bank documentation that should include both the customer's name and bank account number, such as the bank card, bank statements, account opening proof, and similar documents.
If the verification documents are incorrect, it may affect the withdrawal process, potentially leading to failed withdrawals and associated bank fees that the customer will need to bear.
Bank Card Status
The statuses a bank card may be in include: eDDA Authorized, Securities Authorization, and Under Review.
If the bank card is in any of these statuses, you cannot directly delete the bank card or modify the bank account name or bank card number information.
Deleting Bank Cards
Click on 'Assets' - 'Bank Cards', select the specific bank card, and you can directly click to delete.
If your bank card has completed various authorizations, such as eDDA authorization, securities authorization, and witnessed deposits, it does not support direct deletion. You must revoke the authorizations before you can delete the bank card.
Common Bank Card Issues
1.Which bank cards does Changqiao support for deposits?
Changqiao supports deposits from Hong Kong cards and non-Hong Kong cards. For non-Hong Kong region bank cards, currently only cross-border bank transfers from FATF member countries/regions are supported. Deposits from mainland China bank cards are not supported.
Please do not use bank cards from non-FATF member countries/regions to transfer funds directly to your Longbridge account. The deposit will be returned, which takes a long time, and you need to bear the return handling fee.
2.What if my deposit fails and I'm prompted that my bank card information is incorrect?
Rejecting a deposit application is not a refund. You can go to 'Deposit Funds' - top right corner 'Deposit History', click on the deposit record, and check which field of the bank card information is incorrect. You can click 'Modify Now' to directly change the current bank card information.
After the bank card information has been modified, you need to go to 'Assets' - 'Deposit Funds' and resubmit the deposit application.
3.What if I cannot modify the bank account name and bank card number?
If your bank card is under review, eDDA certified, securities authorized, or witnessed deposits, you cannot modify the bank account name or bank card number information. In this case, you can contact customer service for manual modification.
4.I have already bound a bank card, but I can't see it when I deposit funds. What should I do?
You need to click on 'Assets' - 'Bank Cards' to confirm whether the bank card has been successfully added. If it has been added successfully, then check what type of account the bank card is.
If you have bound a bank card with a Hong Kong dollar account type, and you click 'Deposit' - select the deposit currency as US dollars, the mismatch between the deposit currency and the bank account type may prevent you from seeing your bank card. You can choose the deposit currency as Hong Kong dollar or click 'Assets' - 'Bank Cards' to modify your bank card account type.
Similarly, if you have bound a bank card with a US dollar account type, and you click 'Deposit' - select the deposit currency as Hong Kong dollars, you will also be unable to see your bank card. You can choose the deposit currency as US dollars or click 'Assets' - 'Bank Cards' to modify your bank card account type.
5.What if I'm prompted that the bank card is duplicated when I add a bank card for deposit?
Being prompted with a duplicated bank card means that you have already added that card. There is no need to add it again. You can click on 'Assets' - 'Bank Cards' to check if the bank card you have bound already exists and what type of account it is.
6.How to know the first three bank codes of my Hong Kong bank?
You will need to consult with your bank staff to confirm or check on your bank account opening form for the branch number before your account number. Choosing the wrong branch may affect your account's deposits and withdrawals.
