12. Automated Analysis and Artificial Intelligence
Longbridge uses automated systems, including artificial intelligence and algorithmic tools, to analyze customer information for the following purposes: (a) fraud detection and prevention; (b) regulatory compliance, including anti-money laundering and customer identification; (c) investment analytics and portfolio analysis; (d) generating investment recommendations subject to Regulation Best Interest (“Reg BI”); (e) personalized platform insights; and (f) improving platform functionality and AI model performance. 13. AI Financial Agent and AI Non-Financial Agent
The Longbridge platform provides two AI-powered conversational tools: (1) the AI Financial Agent, which provides investment-related information, portfolio analysis, market data, and, where applicable, investment recommendations subject to Regulation Best Interest; and (2) the AI Non-Financial Agent, which provides general, non-investment-advice-related assistance. These tools analyze your queries, investment profile, account activity, and other account context to generate responses. When the AI Financial Agent provides an investment recommendation, it uses your current investment profile (including risk tolerance, investment objectives, time horizon, and financial situation) and available market data to generate a recommendation. A record of each recommendation and the profile data used is retained as required by applicable law. AI-generated responses, including investment recommendations, may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for investment decisions. Securities recommendations, subject to Regulation Best Interest, generated by the AI Financial Agent are made based on the information available in your investment profile at the time of recommendation; they do not constitute ongoing investment advice and your account is not monitored on an ongoing basis for continuing risk. Customers in Colorado and other applicable states have the right to opt out of automated decision-making for consequential decisions and to request human review of AI-generated investment recommendations. However, having a human review of an AI-generated investment recommendation specific to your account is not a service offered by Longbridge.
