Transfer supported tokens from your Longbridge account to an external wallet by following the steps below.
Before You Start
-
Make sure your account has crypto permissions enabled.
-
Have your destination wallet address ready — you can paste it or scan a QR code.
-
Withdrawals are subject to a daily limit of $5,000, shared across all crypto tokens. This limit resets daily at 20:00 ET. Check your remaining limit before submitting.
-
Withdrawals equivalent to $3,000 or more require Travel Rule verification (see Step 6).
Step 1: Open Crypto Transfer
From your Portfolio home screen, tap Crypto transfer in the button menu, then tap the Withdraw button to begin.
Step 2: Select a Token
On the token selection screen, tokens are listed alphabetically with your available balance for each.
-
Search or scroll to find the token you want to withdraw.
-
Tap a token to select it.
Note If withdrawals for the selected token are not supported in your account's registration region, a pop-up will notify you. Tap OK and select a different token. |
Step 3: Fill in Withdrawal Details
You will see a form with the following fields:
Token & Network
-
The token you selected is pre-filled.
-
If only one network is available, it is pre-filled automatically. If multiple networks are available, select the network that matches your destination wallet.
-
Tap the Token field to go back and choose a different token.
Deposit Address
- Enter the destination wallet address manually, or tap the scan icon to scan a QR code from your camera or photo album.
Tag (shown only for applicable tokens)
- Some tokens require a Tag (also called a Memo). Enter it if the field appears.
Amount to Withdraw
-
Enter the amount in the token’s unit.
-
Tap All to auto-fill the maximum withdrawable amount, which is the lesser of your Available balance and Max. withdrawal.
-
Decimal precision follows the token’s configured precision.
Understanding the Amount Fields
Field | Description |
Available balance | The amount of this token currently available for withdrawal. |
Min. withdrawal | The minimum withdrawal amount, calculated by converting the USD minimum requirement into the selected token at the current exchange rate. |
Max. withdrawal | The maximum amount you can withdraw, based on your remaining daily USD withdrawal limit and converted into the selected token at the current exchange rate. |
Est. network fees | The estimated blockchain network fee required to process the withdrawal. |
Est. final amount | The estimated amount you will receive after the network fee is deducted from the withdrawal amount. |
Note If Est. final amount reaches zero or goes negative, the field turns red and you will not be able to proceed. Increase your withdrawal amount to continue. |
Amount validation — you will see an error if:
-
The amount is below the minimum withdrawal amount
-
The amount exceeds your available balance or remaining daily limit
Step 4: Tap Next
Once all fields are completed correctly, tap Next. The system will validate your destination address.
-
If the address is invalid, an error message will appear below the address field. Correct it and try again.
-
If the address is valid, a confirmation pop-up will appear.
Note For withdrawals of $3,000 or more, the system verifies the address at this stage. If verification fails, correct the address or contact customer support. |
Step 5: Review and Confirm
A Submit Withdrawal Request pop-up shows a full summary of your request:
Field | Description |
Amount to withdraw | The amount you entered |
Est. network fees | Current fee estimate (the countdown timer continues running) |
Est. final amount | The amount you will receive after the network fee is deducted |
Network | Selected network |
Tag | Tag you entered, if applicable |
Deposit address | Destination wallet address |
All amounts are shown in both the crypto token denomination and USD equivalent.
Note If Est. final amount drops to 0 or below, the Submit button will be disabled. |
Once you have reviewed everything, tap Submit.
Step 6: Travel Rule Verification ($3,000+ only)
If your withdrawal is equivalent to $3,000 or more, you must complete Travel Rule verification before your request can be submitted.
Question: Is the receiving wallet self-hosted (e.g., your own hardware or software wallet)?
-
Yes — No further information needed. You can proceed to submit.
-
No — You will be asked whether you are the owner of the receiving wallet
If you are NOT the owner: Withdrawals to wallets you do not own are not supported.
If you ARE the owner: Provide the Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) information:
-
Select your exchange or platform from the list (e.g., Coinbase, Kraken, Binance.US).
-
The platform’s website will be pre-filled; you can edit it if needed.
-
If your platform is not listed, choose Other and enter the name and website manually.
Tap Next to submit your request.
Note If the fee estimate expires during this step, you will be prompted to refresh it before continuing. |
Step 7: Withdrawal Submitted
Once submitted, a confirmation screen will show:
-
Withdrawal initiation time
-
The amount withdrawn
-
A Withdrawal completed milestone (pending blockchain confirmation)
Tap OK to return to the Crypto Transfer page.
Tracking Your Withdrawal
From the Crypto Transfer page, tap the arrow next to Transfer History to view all withdrawal records.
Tap any record to view full details.
Daily Limit Explained
All crypto withdrawals share a single daily USD limit. To check your limit details, tap the info icon (ⓘ) next to Max. withdrawal on the withdrawal form. You will see:
-
Your total daily USD limit
-
Amount used today
-
Remaining limit
Failed withdrawals do not count toward your daily usage. The limit resets each calendar day.
FAQs
Q1: How long does a withdrawal take?
Processing times vary depending on the token and network congestion. You can track progress in Transfer History using the Blockchain Transaction ID.
Q2: Why is my Est. final amount showing in red?
This indicates that the estimated network fee equals or exceeds your withdrawal amount, meaning the amount you would receive is zero or negative. Try entering a larger withdrawal amount.
Q3: What does ‘fee expired’ mean?
Network fee estimates are valid for 270 seconds. If the timer runs out before you submit, the fee will refresh automatically. Tap OK to review the updated estimate and resubmit.
Q4: Why was my withdrawal rejected?
Reason | What to Do |
Insufficient balance | Enter a lower amount |
Daily limit exceeded | Wait until the next daily cycle that resets after 20:00 ET or reduce the amount |
Invalid address | Double-check the destination wallet address |
Amount below minimum | Increase the withdrawal amount |
Crypto account not activated | Contact customer support |
Travel Rule threshold triggered mid-submission | Resubmit your withdrawal request |
Q5: Can I withdraw to someone else’s wallet?
No. Longbridge only supports withdrawals to wallets you own. Transfers to third-party wallets are not permitted.
Q6: What is a VASP?
A Virtual Asset Service Provider (VASP) is a regulated crypto exchange or custodian, such as Coinbase or Kraken. If your destination wallet is held at a VASP, you will need to identify it during Travel Rule verification for withdrawals of $3,000 or more.
