Your account security is our top priority. Below are the steps we recommend to keep your Longbridge account and assets protected—and what to do if you ever suspect something is wrong.
Use a strong, unique password
A strong password is your first line of defense. We recommend that you:
-
Make it at least 12 characters long and hard to guess.
-
Combine uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters.
-
Avoid using personal information such as your name, birthday, or phone number.
-
Never reuse a password from another website or app. If one site is breached, a reused password puts your Longbridge account at risk too.
Tip: A password manager can generate and securely store unique passwords for every account, so you don’t have to remember them all.
Turn on two-factor authentication (2FA)
Two-factor authentication adds a second layer of protection beyond your password. Even if someone learns your password, they can’t sign in without the second verification step. 2FA is mandatory for all Longbridge account holders. Keep your registered phone number and email up to date so you can receive verification codes.
Protect your login credentials
-
Never share your password with anyone. Longbridge support will never ask you for your password.
-
Be cautious of phishing emails, text messages, or calls that ask you to log in through a link or share verification codes. Always access Longbridge through the official app or website. If you’re unsure whether a message is genuine, you can contact our support team to verify the authenticity of any email before acting on it.
-
Do not enter your login details on public or shared computers, and avoid signing in over unsecured public Wi-Fi.
Keep your devices secure
-
Set a screen lock (PIN, password, or biometrics) on any device you use to access Longbridge.
-
Keep your operating system and the Longbridge app updated to the latest version.
-
Only download the Longbridge app from official sources such as the App Store or Google Play.
-
Log out when using a device that isn’t your own.
Monitor your account
Review your account activity and statements regularly. If you notice a login, transaction, or change to your account details that you don’t recognize, act right away using the steps below.
If you think your account has been compromised
Act immediately if you suspect unauthorized access:
-
Change your password right away.
-
Review your account for any unfamiliar activity or setting changes.
-
Contact our customer support team as soon as possible at support@longbridge.com or through the Longbridge app.
