Method 1: ACH Deposit (Recommended)
ACH transfers are free and the easiest way to deposit. You must have at least one linked ACH bank account to use this method.
Steps
- Tap Transfers on the home screen, then tap Deposit.
- On the How would you like to deposit? screen, tap ACH.
- Enter the amount you wish to deposit. The minimum is $0.01 and the maximum is your remaining daily limit.
- Check the From field below the amount. This shows your currently selected bank account. Tap it to switch to a different linked ACH account if needed.
- After a valid amount has been entered, tap Next.
- Review the summary screen — it shows your deposit amount and the source bank account. Please note that returned ACH deposits may be subject to a $30 fee.
- Tap Deposit now to submit.
Once submitted, you will see a confirmation screen showing:
- The deposit amount
- Deposit initiated date
- Estimated completion date (up to 5 business days)
Tap OK to return to the Transfers page.
Note If you have deposits already in progress, the total amount in progress is shown at the top of the deposit method screen. Tap it to view all pending deposits. |
Understanding Your Daily Limit
Your daily ACH deposit limit is $50,000, calculated based on all ACH deposits you submitted that day that are in progress or completed.
- Deposits submitted on non-working days count toward the next working day’s limit.
- The limit resets every business day at 16:00 ET.
- To check your remaining limit, tap the ⓘ icon next to You can deposit up to on the deposit screen.
Over-limit Error If the amount you enter exceeds your remaining daily limit, the amount field will be highlighted in red. Enter a lower amount and try again. |
Method 2: Wire Deposit
Wire deposits are initiated on your end — either through your bank’s online platform, in person at a branch, or in some cases over the phone. Longbridge does not process wires directly. You’ll send the transfer using the beneficiary details provided in the app.
Steps
- Tap Transfers, and then tap Deposit.
- On the How would you like to deposit? screen, tap Wire.
- The How to Wire screen will display Longbridge’s receiving bank details, including beneficiary name, bank name, account number, ABA routing number, bank address, currency (USD), and payee reference/FFC.
- Tap the copy icon next to each field to copy it, and then use those details to initiate a wire transfer through your bank’s online platform or at a branch.
Important The account name on your wire must match the name on your Longbridge account. Longbridge does not accept wires from third-party or business accounts. The beneficiary address is not displayed on the How to Wire screen. If your bank asks for it when you set up the wire, enter: 350 N St Paul St, Suite 1300, Dallas, TX 75201. |
Canceling a Deposit
You can cancel an ACH deposit while it is still in progress.
- Go to Transfers > Transfer history.
- Tap the deposit record you want to cancel.
- On the detail page, tap Cancel deposit.
- Tap Yes, cancel to confirm. The deposit will be withdrawn and the page will refresh.
Note Deposits that have already been completed, rejected, or returned cannot be canceled. If cancellation is no longer available, you will see a message explaining the current status. |
FAQs
Q1: How long does an ACH deposit take?
ACH deposits are typically credited to your account by the next business day (T+1). Once your deposit is successful, you’ll receive instant buying power, so you can start trading right away. Learn more about Instant Buying Power. You’ll see an estimated completion date on the confirmation screen after submitting.
Please note:
- ACH deposits are not eligible for withdrawal for 5 business days.
- It may take several days for the debit to appear in your bank account. This depends on your bank and may vary.
Q2: What happens if my deposit is returned?
Returned deposits will appear as Returned in your Transfer history, and a $30 return fee may be charged. The returned amount will be reflected as a fee on the deposit detail page.
Q3: Why was my deposit rejected?
Deposits can be rejected for several reasons, including mismatched account information or bank-side issues. Check the deposit detail page for the specific status. If you need further help, contact our support team at support@longbridge.com.
Q4: I don’t see the ACH option. What should I do?
If you do not have a linked ACH bank account, you will be taken to the bank linking flow when you tap ACH. Follow the steps in the How to Link a Bank Account guide to add an account first.
