What a Signal tells you
A Signal is an AI-generated trading alert for a specific stock. Longbridge continuously monitors market events — such as earnings releases, technical breakouts, and changes in a company’s fundamentals — and generates a Signal when a stock newly meets the conditions of one of our investment Strategies.
Each Signal tells you four things at a glance:
-
The stock the Signal applies to
-
The Strategy that was triggered (for example, Innovation Growth or Quality Value)
-
The direction of the opportunity (such as a potential entry)
-
The reason the Signal was generated — the underlying event or factor change
How Signals are generated
A Signal is produced when a catalyst — a meaningful market event — occurs for a stock. Longbridge checks whether this event causes the stock to satisfy the rules of one of our Strategies, based on that Strategy’s factor framework (growth, momentum, profitability, quality, valuation, and more). When the conditions are met, a Signal is created and shown to you with its supporting rationale.
A Signal is a point-in-time snapshot
Each Signal reflects the exact moment it was created and is never edited afterward. If new developments change the picture, Longbridge generates a new Signal rather than updating the old one. This keeps every Signal a faithful record of what was true when it was issued, so you can always trace the reasoning behind it.
What you can do with a Signal
-
Review the reasoning to understand why the stock was flagged
-
Act on it — for example, add the stock to your watchlist, or place an order through a Trade Plan
-
Ignore it if it doesn’t fit your plan
Signals are research tools to help you discover opportunities. They are not investment advice or a recommendation to buy or sell any security.
